Incredible stay with fantastic amenities — highly recommend!Our stay at this hotel was incredible. The staff were so friendly and helpful from start to finish. Breakfast was outstanding with plenty of options to choose from. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the spa area was a lot of fun to use.Parking can be a bit challenging—there’s ample street parking, but restaurant patrons often take many of the spots. Fortunately, the hotel offers paid parking, which made things much easier.Overall, a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this hotel!

Beautifull hotel with (almost) everything one could desire. Comfy beds, clean, beautiful wellness area. The receptionist Martina was a true charm to greet us!

We were welcomed by Martina at reception who was informative and just such a lovely person to meet. The reception area is so well thought out with a variety of free beverages (including a lovely beer on tap I’m told!) and snacks as well as games for the children. The sauna and wellness area are lovely for an evening relaxation session. There is also a lovely ‘barefoot park’ room for the children that they loved exploring for an hour.The breakfast was delicious and varied with items to order such as great pancakes and eggs in whatever format your prefer. The family room was great for us with a convertible bunk bed that my mine loved!

We only wished we had more than one night there - it was intended to be a stop off on a road trip for us but we really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back!

The staff was friendly! The food at the restaurant was delicious — we had a lovely, beautifully presented dinner. The next morning, the breakfast items were very fresh — you could really taste the quality. The drinks, beer, and snacks in the lobby were a nice bonus!

We didn’t like the room — the mattress was terrible, it sagged badly. I can’t even imagine how old it is. We didn’t sleep well, and the atmosphere in the room felt a bit heavy.

Facilities and staff were very nice. Sauna and wellness area were relaxing. Great breakfast options.

Parking was a little tight at apartment.

The breakfast choices were phenomenal, so many choices. The location was close to main areas, but tucked away enough to have quiet.

We had two beds, the only issue was the second bed which was a sofapullout and hard. Took some getting used to.

Breakfast was good plenty of variety as in bread pastries and cereals, lots of jam, honey. Cold selection of meats very limited in choice and size no hausmacher either

The reception staff was excellent, especially Gaby. They cheerfully helped us move our luggage up and down the entry steps and recommended good alternative dining for when the restaurant was closed. Nice lobby lounge with free snacks and outdoor seating in good weather. The breakfast at the affiliated restaurant across the street was very good. The restaurant also served gourmet dinners. The room was comfortable by European standards. Fairly quiet location within the city.

There is an elevator inside the hotel, which had encouraged me to choose this booking, as we have bad knees. However there was a long stairway from street level to the hotel entrance. I had not thought to ask about stairs, given the elevator, so this was no fault of the hotel but difficult for us.

We loved the apartment! It worked out great for our long stay (5 weeks). The location was excellent. Schonbuch is only a short walk away and the train station about 15 minutes. The staff were very attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The beds aren't the most comfortable and could do with an update. That's all I can complain about!

Room cleaning must be ordered through their website. Restaurant for breakfast is across the road in a separate building. The apartments on offer are not at the standard of the main hotel.

Confusion over room cleaning, whilst happy not to have our room cleaned every day we would have liked it to be be cleaned twice in 4 days. We had to request towels and loo rolls and even when we asked at reception for room to be cleaned it wasn’t. There needs to be a 'Please Clean My Room' sign for the door as well as 'Do Not Disturb' and 'Don’t Clean My Room’ signs.

Probably the cleanest hotel room I was ever in and I check behind the curtains etc. The staff was courtious and helpful. Bed was comfy. The breakfast was nicely displayed and tasty.

Not really a con, but it is not modern, it is more rustic (still uses keys, basic bathroom, basic TV, wallheaters for example).
