Hotel Gasthof Alte Post

This was a pretty typical European small hotel, which is why we chose it. It's close to the Munich airport and the Erdinger brewery. It was clean, quiet, and we enjoyed the restaurant... Shuttle to and from MUC was prompt and took abou 5 minutes.

I don't have any negative comments about the facility or staff...

My flight left before breakfast, so would have liked to take a yogurt or fruit or something before I left the hote.

Price on Booking.com 45.09 eur. Price on the invoice 49 eur.It is not about tje price but the gesture of emailing and stating I am wrong and they are right whilst I sent them the booking.com app print sceen price

The breakfast area was beautiful and the location near the airport

The room wasn’t clean and it was very old fashioned. Breakfast was poor. I wouldn’t suggest it

Easy access to MUC Airport and a wonderful Wirtshaus- excellent Bavarian kitchen.

Minimal amenities for the price.

Comfortable single room, perfect for one night stay. Staff did their best when I turned up a little earlier than expected and my room was ready - they let me leave my bag in my room before it was ready. The restaurant downstairs was very nice and quaint.

Not much happening around the area, no local shop to buy snacks etc. but there was a restaurant downstairs that made up for this

Great place to stay if you want to be close to the airport! Homely atmosphere with a lovely restaurant downstairs with great German food !

Our room was very clean. The breakfast and dining room was very traditional and attractive. We enjoyed having both our breakfast and dinner there. It was great having the bus stop to the airport practically right outside the front door.

Speaking only English, it was difficult with the dinner menu because it was written in a very fancy script which our I-phone translator could not read. The server tried to help, however his English was very limited.

Heating system was shutdown, room temp. was very cold.

The Hotel is located close to the airport and is easily reached by the bus which stops right next to the Hotel.The rooms and the Hotel in general are immaculate.

I only wish that the restaurant was open on weekends. it has an excellent reputation.

hotel close to airport, reachable by bus line 512 from airport. Bus stop is right next to hotel. Bus runs about every half hour.Restaurant serves typical Bavarian food. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Price is a bit high but might be seasonal ( Octoberfest time)

The hotel is in an excellent location - near the airport and conveniently located adjacent a bus stop. The room was comfortable, however, since it faced the street I heard the noise of passing cars throughout the night. I did not eat any meals here, however, there seemed to be a sizable local crowd for dinner.

Wi-Fi was very slow, making it difficult to do meaningful work remotely; even checking email was a bit hampered. There is no elevator so, if you have heavy bags, be prepared to carry them up the stairs.

Had to wait upon arrival and got a cold room

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Very basic and adequate, no frills.

Staff was not particularly friendly. Breakfast advertised at €13 was really €18, and was barely adequate.

It had a restaurant and close to airport.

The pillows were really bad and too soft.

The secret Biergarten is magical and the menu is delicious❣️ rooms are very clean and comfortable. I stay here every time i need to stay near MUC❣️
