Pros +
- Welcoming environment, friendly staff, comfortable and very quiet room.
- front desk service was good, appreciated the "free" drinks and breakfast that was provided to everyone. It was reasonably quiet in our room which I appreciated. Room was clean.
- The location was perfect. The staff was very nice.
Cons -
- Paid over $350 for a small suite w/windows overlooking the courtyard where others could look in, gym is tiny and over heated, has a water leak, has limited equipment (get a couple more mats at least),
- I started staying at your hotels 40 years ago. I would think you have made enough money in that time to upgrade or renovate for your customers. The couch bed should be a comfort sleeper now, not the 1 inch pad that has no springs and wrapped in plastic. Why? When we first opened the bed, there were human hairs on the sheets, as if someone laid on it, but didn’t sleep, so the staff just put it away like that. There was a small red bug crawling on the bed as well. Yuck!! I hope it wasn’t bed bugs and that’s why you had it wrapped in plastic. We had to have them send up all new bedding at 11:00pm. I reserved the room for 4 people and there was only 1 blanket and pillow for the bed. We were so disappointed that our evening ended in a discussion of who had to sleep on that bed because someone was definitely not going to sleep well. I was the one who ended up in that bed for the night, and I woke up with back pain of course. I kept trying to stay to the edge of the bed, but I would just roll to the middle because it sunk in the middle. There was zero support. You could feel ever metal bar in the frame. For the price of a 1 night stay, 2 guest should not have to be miserable sleeping. I seriously think sleeping on the floor would have been better. I know an air mattress definitely is better. The other issue I had was with he breakfast. Again, the staff was very nice here as well. All the food in the buffet was cold. The eggs, bacon, potatoes, and waffles. My grown daughter thought you deep fried the bacon because it was so saturated in grease. The waffles were so hard they were truly un-eatable. And finally my last comment is about the fee for parking. I just can’t believe you charge your customers thirty dollars to park. I can maybe see a fee if it were valet or even a small fee to cover some expenses, but 30 dollars per night is ridiculous. It is time to step up and renovate if you wast to be competitive with other high end hotels.
- Horrific customer service. Avoid this hotel.
