Hotel du Vieux Quebec is in a great location within walking distance of many popular sites. Guests can easily explore the area's historic cobblestone streets, filled with unique shops, local restaurants and art galleries. Beautiful Chateau Frontenac is also only a short distance away.

Pros +

  • The staff is excellent and welcoming. They have wonderful recommendations if you want to have dinner out of the tourist area. Our room had an exposed brick wall and modern furnishings.
  • Staff was very friendly and helpful with making reservations, suggestions, directions. They clearly enjoyed their work and working with each other. Location was excellent and didn't hear any street traffic in our room.
  • This hotel was small but had everything including spacious, well-appointed rooms. There was a lovely common room with games, books, newspapers and a fireplace, TV, coffee machine, etc...the staff was helpful, friendly and accommodating. perfect location

Cons -

  • Additional towels and bathrobes would be nice.
  • Not a huge fan of shampoo dispensers.
  • Loved every detail
