Occidental Costa Cancun - All Inclusive

The grounds were kept well and teh room was clean

All of us (family of 4) suffered from food poisoning caused by the stay at this hotel. For the entire stay we did not leave the premises to go on any excursions. The staff was not helpful in getting us medical help. It was awful!

We loved the staff in the restaurants and bars, the food at the buffet and Mexican were really good, the beach was clean and never over crowded, and the entertainment in the evenings was good.

We got 2 rooms and in one the air conditioning didn't work. The front desk staff always acted like they were annoyed to speak to you. DO NOT go on the "tour" for their new location. They are trying to sell you a time share for an extreme amount of money.

The snack bar was 24 hours and hotel employee was great. Italian rest food was good. Low cost

Small, need reservations for dinner, little hot water and toilet runs in room.

I LOVED THAT THERE WERE NO HIDDEN FEES AND THE LOCATION WAS GREAT. THE FOOD WAS ALSO AMAZING!

MY ROOM WAS A BIT UNDERWELMING AND IT WASN'T AS CLEAN AS I WOULD HAVE LIKED. THERE WAS SAND ON THE RUGS IN THE ROOM AND IT WAS THERE WHEN WE CHECKED IN.

front desk staff acted like they did not want to be there, room air conditioning was a little hard to operate, a lot of rocks in the water and on the beach expected just soft sand

Cleaning

They did not had vegetarian option in restaurants. They ask you to reservations for restaurant and if you late they not late you eat in restaurant. Food was too much oily and not testy.

I LOVED THIS PLACE! As a recent a guest at Occidental Costa for a week. I cannot say enough good things about it! From the moment I checked in, I was always greeted with a smile and a willingness to assist me. The meals were great & waitstaff was AMAZING!

There was NOTHING I did not like!

The value is great !! Food is good at the buffets and breakfasts !! Most of the staff are amazing !! They do their best to make you have a great time !! We were celebrating a birthday and the staff did an amazing job in making him feel special !!

The restaurants that you have to make a reservation for dinner are bad , especially the Italian !! Their food is nowhere near Italian and should change the name . Its horrible !!

Our room size and view was incredible. Location was perfect for us as we had to in and out of the Hotel Zone for dental appointments and was super quick from here.

Have zero complaints.

The breakfast buffet was good. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

The AC in the room did not work. The drinks tasted watered down. The beach wasn¿t really a beach, it was more like a bay and next to a boat pier.

It is a small hotel and everything is close by, including the ferry to Isla Mujeres. The staff is very professional

Our air conditioning couldn¿t be on because everything in our room ended up damp. There was mold on the walls and tan

First day- Ac not working. It takes almost midnight to fix the AC TV cable not working it takes two days to get working There was attempt to fix by hotel a= management It was not worth to pay such huge amount to get such service

All inclusive was a great deal. Even had a choice of 3 extra restaurants in addition to the buffet restaurant. Location was great, cheap local bus was readily available. This hotel is a FAMILY hotel so if you want more adult activities book another

No indoor pool and the beach area is quite small and nearby a busy boating, ferry area.

2nd stay at Occidental. Beautiful resort on where ocean and lake meet. The Pirate ship excursion is behind the resort. The staff is why we return. Wonderful employees. It's on the Hotel Zone North, still can get on the red bus for $1 and go to Walmart.

This time the bathroom sink broke to pieces. The front desk sent maintenance but requested room change. At first they said we had to wait till 3pm (check out time)but they gave us the room earlier. The beach area is TINY. Food is ok, the cappuccino GOOD.

Proximity to beach & airport. Staff -majority great.

Lack of variety of food, checkout by 11:00 am when flight was in evening so you sit around in lobby majority of day, wasted day.

The staff was great! Most spoke English and they were very courteous and pleasant.

The food was awful. It had no taste. Also the rooms were pretty much a motel 6 quality. The pool was absolutely freezing with no hot tub.
