nice, traditional, a little dated, but with a specific atmosphere good location if you like nature

Hotel is set in a nice place, among trees with the view over the city. There is a narrow street to the hotel, with the car there is no problem. Very quiet place, with parking and lot of space. Wonderful breakfest.

The furniture and the equipement of the hotel remembers past times. Which could be charming, but everything needs a better care. Even the cleaning could be done more careful. I found hair in my bed and dust on the shelves. I didnt like the bed and bedlinen.

The hotel is situated on a beautiful and picturesque hillside. From the windows you can see the whole city below (20 walk to the market). Very large rooms with comfortable beds. Very good breakfast buffet, hot rolls ! Large free car park in front of the hotel. Lovely hotel and restaurant staff.

The hotel is relatively old, as are its facilities and equipment ... and maybe that's the charm :-)

Great area, nice and calm neighborhood

Even though the staff was helpful, noone really talked english. But thats the only negative i can mention.

Quiet location, ca 15 min walt to Klagenfurt centre. Parkinga possibility exists, breakfast decent. Personnel was friendly & helpful. OK place for 1-night stay.

Nothing really. Location could of been more central but nothing to overly complain about

Old style accommodation nestled in a fabulous wood. Surrounded by peace and tranquility. Hotel was kitted out with old style antiques which was refreshing.

A bit out in the sticks, a distance from the lake and the town centre, which wouldn’t be much hassle in a bigger city. The exterior is a little dated but that’s no real critique.

The rooms are above a restaurant and the whole room smelled after food and cooking oil. It was disgousting! The room was also moisty and cold not pre heated however its cold outside.

The hotel is comfortable, and quite peaceful; the staff is very friendly and helpful, and breakfast is included and very good.

The location is very poor; it's up on a hill in the middle of a forest, so it takes half an hour to get to the city center, although it does offer good city views from the balcony. The pillow is uncomfortable, and the room could be cleaner.

Charming little property with a city view and a restaurant and very friendly staff. I can’t praise them enough! I would definitely stay here again if I find myself in Klagenfurt again. I really love the Alpine theme of the restaurant and guesthouse!

Nothing that the hotel could improve on in my opinion.

Beautiful location, especially when traveling with dog. The park is very near the location. The restaurant is great, very friendly staff and amazing food.

The accommodation could be a bit cleaner and the facilities renovated.

Road up hill to the hotel can be a little bit tricky, especially at night and when the car comes in opposite direction, or durring Winter.

The room was clean and comfortable but there were no refreshments such as water or brewing up materials. However, our stay was pleasant with a good breakfast included.

Well, it wasn't a case of what we did not like but we suspected the sat navigation had gone wrong with the location up a narrow lane through the trees. But it was right after all. The staff were courteous but did not go out of their way other than what was in the job description.

We got all we needed. The stuff was wery friendly and kind. The breakfast was tasty. The location of the hotel was very good. Perfect parking.

The only bad thing was the terrible smell from the kitchen till 21:00 when the restaurant is closing. We absolutely do not understand why the kitchen doesn't have exhaust up to the roof
