Hilton San Diego Bayfront

The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and room service was prompt and efficient. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would gladly stay here again.

I was disappointed by the hidden mandatory resort fee of $42 plus tax per night was not disclosed until check-in. I had to pay an unexpected additional $190, which came as an unpleasant surprise.I wish the hotel/priceline had been more transparent about

The room was spacious and everything was clean.

There wasn’t a refrigerator, no instructions on how to use the elevator or asking if it was my first visit, the bed wasn’t very comfortable, self-parking was expensive, traffic surrounding the area, unclear entrance, shower water pressure was lacking

The ice bucket was filthy and no sleeves. Bathroom smelled musty.

The room itself was terrible. My view was of a a roof.

Dirty windows and $55 per day parking. Hotel gift shop out of Coke the entire stay.

Breakfast was a disappointment for what we paid and service was slow. Bill had a built-in tip of 20%

Smaller than expected rooms, smelled a bit nusty. Lots.of hidden service charges that weren't made available during check in

I purchased the "free breakfast" it only gave us $25 toward breakfast and their least expensive breakfast was $26 and $28 dollars. So breakfast wasn't free.

The location

It was very old and dated. I had to go to the front desk to get hand soap toilet paper and hand towels for the bathroom. I thought that was strange for the bathroom not to have this already there.

Our room had an amazing view of the ocean/coronado island and San Diego. I loved that we were able to watch the sunset from our room and a quick elevator ride had us on the Embarcadero. Perfect location.

Location, price, staff

The Hotel workers were on strike and were making a lot of noise all day long and difficult to get in and out of the hotel as they had the driveway completely blocked with picketers.

Great location

The hotel was filthy. So much hair in the shower (on walls, floor) that was not mine. Dozens of picketers out front protesting and shouting at us. Ice machine broken, mini fridge broken.

not much i was there for a symposium

staff on strike, incredibly rude strikers were blaring their megaphones in my you childrens faces.

Great location. Easy to walk to a lot of places. Room was great, comfortable bed and higher end coffee and bath products

They offered two perks, a bike ride and kayaking . The kayaking was available but the bike was not. After an hour search we discovered it was no longer available. Also, Hotel employee did not show the level of customer service one would expect at a Hilton.

Very clean. Staff was very friendly. Also very dog friendly.

Staff was awesome! Beautiful rooms and views. Free aluminum water bottles and $15/day to spend at the hotel, bike rentals/paddle boards and shuttles to Coronado. I wish I were there for pleasure and not work.

The parking fees were astronomical for guests! The bed sunk in the middle and it was very noisy. We could hear doors slamming shut, the elevator ringing (which sounded like a doorbell) and people talking down the hallway
