Chez Walter

Very close to Bastia airport.Excellent dinner with outstanding & friendly service!Room quiet, clean and functional.

the hotel is about 5-10 min from airport Bastia, beach and Bastia city. I really liked the peaceful and spacious garden area + pool. Also I was allowed a late check out at 1pm, fully free of charge. The room is small. But I was alone, so it was easy. Also there's a small balcony which I used to work outside.

Evening check in. Free parking. Very kind lady at the reception. Two fairly big rooms feel reasonably luxurious. Quiet, clean, good bed, good shower, good wifi. Balcony. Tea, coffee and water in the room. Good breakfast. Very nice gentleman at check out. All good!

Nothing. All good!

The room was very nice with a small balcony. The staff was very friendly.

The jacuzzi was nice and warm, but the sauna wasn’t warm, even after 30 minutes waiting.

Helpful staff, good restaurant, clean rooms, very close to airport.

Perfect location. Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Good dinner.

Nice and close to the airport, quiet, friendly staff and a good breakfast! Nice grounds to walk around with young kids.

Location was conveniently close to the airport and one of the train stations. Pleasant atmosphere in the hotel. Relaxed, with a nice bar for a drink.

Property was well maintained and landscaped. Rooms were ample and clean. Staff was courteous.

Easy checking and check out…friendly staff…lovely food..good parkingClose to the airport

There is no lift…and stairs are stiff for disabled people.Numerous maintenance issues some of which have H and S concerns.

Very friendly greeting, room on garden, nice pool well situated to reach airport by car. Reception staff very pleasant and understanding. Quiet.

Our room was a decent size and very clean and comfortable. The staff on reception were kind and helpful and we found all the hotel and restaurant staff to be very friendly. Breakfast was from 06h30 to 10h00. There was a good choice of croissants, pastries, breads etc and sliced bread for toast! Cold meats, cheese, boiled eggs, fruit, cereals, yogurts and an excellent cup of coffee! The restaurant was very good and we ate there most nights. It’s a really nice hotel, just off the main routes and a ten minute drive to the airport. It is set in lovely grounds with a decent size pool, tennis courts etc.. We also had a hire car and there was secure parking outside.

The description said the hotel had sound proofing but we did hear noise from some adjoining rooms.

Nice hotel in the mountain, the pool is very good and we have a nice swim after a hot day. We have our dinner on the terrace - very spacious and surrounded by greenary. The food was delicious and the service pvery nice - they left us stay long in the night. Parking in front of the hotel.

We have the first room next to the airconditioning of the hotel...but for 1 night it was ok

Quiet. The restaurant was good. The breakfast area was lovely. Sitting by the pool was lovely. Good lounge/bar area to gather with friends and with a Satellite tv there.

Kind of small rooms, but not unexpected.

Superb

There is no elevator in the hotel (our room was on the second floor).Strong food smell in the balcony (probably from the kitchen of the restaurant).

Handy for airport. Enjoyed the hotel restaurant. Lovely staff.

Breakfast was delicious, pool very nice, room very comfortable.

The restaurant was closed on Sunday evening when we arrived even though it was not late.

Near to airport

No sound proofing. Heard everyone coming back to their rooms in the late evening & into their rooms next door. Next door then got up at 4am and had showers so bad nights sleep for us. The garden view room booked was a tiny balcony with a view of the side road & fields. Not what we were hoping for as our first night of holiday after a long day of travelling.
