The Royal Cancun, All Suites Resort

Very nice and quiet hotel. Perfect for young families and older folks

Hotel has an agreement with taxis that they won't allow UBER access. No signs posted. I have a severely disabled child and had to carry her to the street and load her while cars squeezed by. Was very upset.

Casual, relaxing atmosphere. Not a party resort, but not stuffy and silent either. If you decide you want more of a party, a shuttle will take you to the sister resort and back (on a schedule).

Our room over looked the parking lot and we had the sound of sirens from the street as well as we were awakened by the sound of glass bottles being being dumped all night. The entrance to our room was by the water purification and smelled like sewer.

I enjoyed having the fully stocked kitchen and stove to cook. When your a family with kids trying to save money, it¿s great to have the amenities in order to cook. I also enjoyed that room service provided us a playpen sleeping bed for our baby.

The beach was not very swimmable. It has boats on the sides and there was some sea grass. It also has lots of seaweed not the fault of the hotel most probably but we didn¿t allow our daughter to get into the water just the pools.

This hotel has a relaxing, laid back vibe that I love. The staff are excellent, the rooms are large and exceptionally clean and I love having the option to cook in my room. If you are looking for a party atmosphere, this is probably not the right hotel.

Staff was rude, site stated they offered free face mask due to it being mandatory when not in rooms. Staff offered mask to some and not to others, very prejudice. The guest there were most likely people who had timeshares, old, wanted you to be quiet 10p

I paid for All inclusive got there it was not. They made you pay for pool towels. Worst place to stay

Royal Resorts are always well maintained and have friendly staff.

If you do not own a timeshare, then all the fancy restaurants they advertise are difficult to access. They limit advance reservations to timeshare owners so you have few, if any, options for seating. The location is a busy one on the hotel strip.

Checkin was very fast & easy. Staff very fluent and comfortable in English. Units fully furnished w/modern appliances. Excellent housekeeping staff.

No garbage disposals in the kitchens. Not a big issue but units have every other convenience. DVD player only plays DVD from Mexico, so don't bother bringing your fave movies from home in USA. Again, no big deal.

I did not like the idea that we were getting an all inclusive stay and when we got there we were told that we had the "European Package" which we knew nothing about. The manager was not helpful in making the situation better. This was the worst part

Beautiful location, very good buffet. Quiet after 10PM...

Limited choices to eat with only two restaurants on site. La Tratorria service was slow, they were over booked but the food was good.

The location is OK, and the room is clean.

The breakfast and lunch are more or less the same every day, need bigger varieties. The restaurants close too early, would be better if they work till 11 -11:30 PM.

This place was clean, nice staff and all the bad things I read in some reviews I NEVER came across anything . Lots of food choices and it was all good . I think people are too harsh. Check in and out was simple and fast also.

The only thing is they did try to sell me s time share, but that's what all the places in Cancun do

The beds are not the most comfy. Only improvement my family would recommend.

Beautiful property right next to white sand beach.. Staffs are attentive and polite. Our inclusive packages are good for all the Royal resorts. Highly recommended. Will come again definitely.

Our inclusive package only allows shuttle ride between Royal Cancun Resort and Royal Sands Resort. Not permitted for other sister Royal Resorts (e.g. Royal Carribean, Royal Islander, etc). Workaround is taking local public buses (Route 1 and Route 2).

I loved the view from our room. The beach and pools were outstanding. The all inclusive dining was very good, especially when taking advantage of the nightly focus. The staff was very nice.

If you have a room with a view right on the beach be prepared for the party boats that run until 3:00 am. Their music is booming. My children on the opposite side on the suite did not hear anything. I wish there were a few more restaurants at the resort.
