Dream Downtown by Hyatt

My room wasn’t ready until 7pm!!! They were short of housekeeping staff and even told me to cancel my reservation and they won’t charge me! Like I can go at that our days before Christmas and another hotel!! I was told there are no other rooms available, but we looked in your app and there were 5 more available rooms. I spoke with the manager to try to understand what their priorities were, My reservation was for a special room. And I had another reservation with them for another night this week. I canceled it. It was a very poor judgment from the management side. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

Location was ok for our needs. Overall a satisfactory stay but quality really didnt match the price

Maintenance of equipment is somewhat questionable. TV in room did not work properly even after maintenance worker supposedly fixed the condition.

The room was kept clean. The service is excellent as well. Very nice location, close to everything! Easy to access the subway and to go uptown or downtown.

The hotel's breakfast restaurants need some improvement. If the pool area restaurant is closed, there is no other way to eat in the hotel.. The rooms were a little outdated as well, but were kept clean.

Great hotel. Staff was amazing. Would stay at the location again. Nice lobby bar and we did dinner at the restaurant next door and it was awesome.

There really wasn't anything that I did not like. Rooms were small but we really didn't need anything larger. It was enough space for two people.

Hot water was an issue and only 1 bathrobe in a room for 2? Also the refrigerator never got cold.

Fantastic location for my visit. Bed was comfortable. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Very helpful in getting transportation.

Room was not easily traversable but I guess that is because it was small. There wasn't enough drawers to fully unpack which was needed as there was no room to lay my suitcase out in the room. Not enough counter space in the bathroom when getting ready.

Can not beat the location. In the middle of everything. Parking right across the street was easy and convenient. Just remember to get your parking validated with the hotel for a better rate.
