Hotel Restaurant Sol i Vi

we did not use the restaurant or pool. But everything looked amazing. We will definitely try to come back during the summer season to make full use of the amenities. It was very good value for what we got.

Restaurant decor is very authentic. Good views from the rooms. Staff are lovely.

Only really accessible by car.

BEWARE Sat Nights here - Family Weekend ruined - Like staying in a Nightclub

This has to be the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel.  Do not stay on a Saturday night here. The whole hotel was booked for a wedding when we were there.  If you read other reviews it seems this is common. BEWARE. There was music blasting and pounding and people screaming until 3AM, then people milling about the hotel drunk making noise until 4am.  We were there with our 2 children.  None of us slept more than a couple hours, if that.  It was horrendous.  They should block the entire hotel for the wedding party if they are going to operate this way.  I have never seen anything like this in my life.  They apologized during the night and in the morning when we complained that we had not slept all night and were considering packing up and leaving in the middle of the night.  They tried to be nice and gave us a bottle of wine in the morning but this helps little after they stole a nights sleep from our whole family.  We actually live 40 minutes away in Barcelona so easily could have driven home but did not think it was at 2 in the morning.  We intended to get away from the commotion of the city to nature and ended up sleeping inside a nightclub.  Absolutely shocking.

Second time we use this hotel. We travel between two ferries. Hotel is not far from Barcelona, easy to find. However when you put the directions in on your sat nav my machine tells me I have arrived a mile too early, just keep going and you will find the hotel. This is more of a restaurant with a hotel. Dinner was excellent! The room is clean , but basic. Bed is a little hard for my husbands liking. parking is quite safe.

Lovely fluffy towels, pretty location, comfy bed, nice to have a fridge in room. The bathroom was also very good including a bidet.

The room was not like the pictures at all on booking.com. It was much older and not the modern room I was expecting. Therefore I was very disappointed. Not one of the 47 pictures looked like our room. There was no balcony or floor to ceiling windows like in the room pictures.

Great value for money. This was just a one night stop over from our road trip. Decent size rooms, very comfy beds. Breakfast was a good selection. We used the pool in the morning which was a lovely surprise, it was huge and a really nice area to spend the morning before a big drive again. Staff also very helpful, would definitely recommend

Food in restaurant is very tasty, the personal very polite. Swimming pool is big, very nice. Breakfast is classic local, not so big choice, but still enough.

False adversing - rooms are nothing like in the photos.

Be aware that the rooms are NOTHING like in the pictures on booking or on their website. We thought we would be booking a renovated, fresh family room for 4 - hence the premium price. We got an old room - nothing like in the pictures, with loose/shaky furniture and old moldy bathroom. We paid over 200 euros / night for that with breakfast (note: kids pay full price). Due to language barrier on the staff side, we could not change rooms. False adversing.

We arrived after the restauant closed 23h30, but the staff made us an excellent ham and cheese plate with catalan toasts.

Would not recommend this hotel.

The food could have been better, there was a lack of choice. Breakfast was poor. The room was reasonable for a one night stay.

Restaurant had very nice menu with many options. Food is wonderful - Sol i Vi is most know for its food and banquet facilities.

Breakfast was 8 Euro - nothing hot. Good coffee. Juices. Breads. Sausage. Cheese. Plain yogurt. Price could have been lower.

Everything. Stunning location. Perfect accommodation. Excellent dinner. Helpful, happy staff.

Leaving!!

Lunch here was delicious! Very friendly staff and comfortable clean rooms. Surrounded by vineyards, which was beautiful. Very good value for money.

The location was great for the drive from the UK, through France to Spain. The hotel is not far off the AutoVia but far enough not to get all the traffic noise. The staff were friendly. The food served at dinner in the restaurant was excellent although not cheap. Breakfast was €8.00 for a cold buffet with coffee, etc. We were travelling with our dog who was welcomed too. The room cost was reasonable and I would stay there again.

As our dog is a puppy and doesn't yet sit for long periods I asked if we could eat in our room. The online description offered room service but the gentleman at the check in desk was not keen to provide this. Eating in the dining room was not relaxing and it would have been easier for us to enjoy the food more if we had room service.
