Cozy retreat in the woods. Delicious food and excellent service. Our dog loved the walks in the woods too! Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended.

Beautiful hotel, in the middle of a forest. Very cosy and inviting terrace, nicely decorated. The staff was super friendly, even late at night when we arrived. The rooms were warm (but it was a heatwave at the time, so everything as warm...). Thankfully, the windows can be openend, and the fresh evening forest air could enter the room. The beds were very cosy and soft. The staff even provided a oscilating fan. The breakfast was decent, fresh and plenty. The terrace had a small section with outdoor toys for children, and the staff was really thoughtful and helpful.

Atmosphere, location, style, family room

A beautiful setting and relaxed atmosphere made this a perfect stopover after a long day travelling. Double aspect room with the woods on both sides was a delight. Food and beer were good and walks for the dog outside the door.

The room was ok, but small. I have seen much bigger and more luxury rooms for a lesser price.

Friendly, helpful staff. Nice atmosphere. A cabin in the woods.

Sound proofing is an issue. The walls are paper thin, so don't expect privacy or peace and quiet. I ordered the three course menu but was charged a la carte for two courses because I skipped dessert. That's petty.

-Radiator iin the Room did not work.only 2 Hangers in Room-Hairdryer available old and only a lukewarm setting.-No TV in Room unusual for Hoels these Days-Scrambles egg ,,pancakes in dish on sideboard provided cold

Staff were very helpful and friendly, spoke good English and welcomed us warmly, the area is very beautiful and peaceful. The building is inviting and cosy. Breakfast was simple and fresh.Great selection of beer. Parking is easy and there is a lovely atmosphere.

Woke up from the smell of the frying pan at 8 o'clock in the morning in the room

Beautiful cabin in the forest. Windows open in the morning sound of the forest and birds and refreshing Dutch country air

Nothing it was amazing

Secluded location but close enough to the town to drive in for lots of restaurant choices.

Bathroom in their best room needs basic maintenance to meet the expectations.

the hotel is a beautiful old building with of timber used for walls and decoration. i was my wife's birthday and the staff really went out of their way to do something special for her.atmosphere is fantastic and the food is very good.

the only negative point is the TV in the room that does not work due to extremely bad reception.

Location: Very pleasant for those seeking countryside and space.Parking: plenty of free parking space available.Check-in: was very easy and staff showed us to our rooms.Rooms: Well, I guess you get what you pay for. They are tiny but they do have clean and recently furnished shower/toilet rooms.In summary, the accommodation is designed for budget travellers. The restaurant is very nice and rustic. Good ambiance, decor and food pretty good.

Given the architecture of the property it is difficult to imagine how they could improve without, say, create reasonable space by knocking two rooms into one. To do so would probably render the hotel part unviable.
