Very nice location with the Castle just across the river, can't beat the view.Breakfast was nice, people were friendly.Free parking

Rooms are not really clean or quiet and quite dated.Parking can be a challange as it's full in the evenings and some parts are just deep mud.

Bedroom weird layout with wardrobe and badly positioned light. Bathroom has weak shower in high-sided bath. (Amazed their H&S people let them get away with this - a real trip & fall hazard). Toilet seat would not stay in upright position etc My room was clean (enough - i only noticed some icky stains in the duvet cover dans le matin but my friend reported an ant invasion in his room (on second floor!!). The rooms aside the real downers of the stay were eating in the hotel restaurant. Really poor vfm and devoid of ambiance grace and charm other than the fine view of the castle. Apart from a very ordinary (but expensive) meal the other downer was the receptionist adding the €13 for the PD onto my bill, without asking me if I’d availed of breakfast. I had to explain that I’d not had breakfast (without adding that I’d sworn a vow after the dinner never to spend any further coin with the establishment). She took off the amount swiftly enough but it left a bad taste - surely it doesn’t hurt to ask in these cases?

Great, view r.m just across from the chateau.. also had a fantastic dinner in the restaurant. At a great price.

The pillows on the bed were uncomfortable to sleep on. The shower took a long time to warm up, but when it did, there was plenty of hot water.

A great location to access the town. The toilet facility was not the best as the lid wouldn’t stay up and kept falling down! No window in the toilet cubicle.

Wonderful staff. Great location but there was no hot water and it was not very clean. Tired decor especially the shower.

Staff were lovely and when we mentioned there were no towels in the room they were put in the room by the time we returned. However when we left early there was no hot water in the room so we couldn't shower. The room was cold and radiator didnt come on, and toilet was making a running water sound all night. No Staff in the hotel overnight. Good parking, good location but dissapointing facilities. Tabac over the road do great pizzas!

as a hotel guest I was told that I can not go into the Restaurant because it is fully booked and i should go to a brasserie not too far away.the heating in the room was never checked and the whole time and night water was bubbling noisy like hell as I wanted to have a shower, the dispenser for shower gel was completely empty!the floor in the bathroom was not adequate

This was a good hotel across the river from the chateau. The parking is across the road with key pad access plenty of space. Good selection of food available in the restaurant for evening meal and breakfast.

The room numbers did not match the escape route plan. Our double bed was against a wall other rooms did not have this problem. Our room number was 101 and on the escape route plan 133. The lights in the bathroom came on remotely if visited at night it would light up the bedroom.

Fantastic location right opposite the beautiful castle of this fabulous town.Extremely helpful staff that couldn't have been more accommodating, we travelled by motorcycle and were given access to the hotels secure underground car park Excellent breakfast and very good value for money.We both had a room overlooking the castle and the river.

Rooms are a little dated but it didn't detract from what is a fabulous place to stay.

View was quite good, and the breakfast was good …..BUT the bedroom was cold and damp mould on the walls the extractor in the bathroom didn’t work , bathroom was cramped loo plus basin was not cleaned every day,coffee making facilities very poor paper cups and not enough sugar etc supplied, lighting poor by bedroom door on the inside bulb didn’t work . Had to use a hot water bottle in bed on arrival as no heating and very cold , whole room felt damp and had a stale smell .We eat in the dining room once and the table was to close to the next table so uncomfortable having a conversation and the food was tasteless.

Cramped bathroom , shower was dirty paint coming of the tiles toilet wasn’t cleaned every day ,smelly bedroom smelt damp the hole time we stayed , food in the evening very poor and tasteless, didn’t like the fact that there was no ramp to run cases up into the hotel had to lift them up the steps.net curtain was a nightmare to close and pole was bent.

Stayed here 7 years ago and we had the same room again. They have had a refurb since and done a good job, room slightly smaller now and different configuration but was comfortable. Parking just over the road - very convenient

Hot water, couldnt get any about 4 pm and was not that brilliant the next morning.
