Great staff. Quaint town. Good menu selection at the restaurant and perfect breakfast. If we ever come to the area again, we will be sure to stay.

Very nice hotel for a pleasant stay. In the middle of Stainz with everything on walking distance and a nice view on the Schloss. The room and equipment is very clean and tidy, no sound from outside, and fitted with good materials and furniture. The personel is very friendly and helpfull and breakfast... is delicious! Nice to start a day with such an experience. It has a lot services and facilitys to use if you would like to. I didn't use wifi, so I can't judge that.

Maybe the curtains would be covering the window a bit more so it prevents light from coming in. The jet of the show turns to the right automatically which causes a wet floor outside the showercabin. In person I like a bit more firm cushion on the bed and the sheet might be a bit larger. But these remarks are just really tiny.

The place is clean and decent, breakfast is abundant and the food is of good quality.

Reception closes at 15:00 on weekend and around 19:00 on weekdays (despite published hours till 20:45 everyday). When the reception is closed the gym (fitness center) and sauna are also closed. So, while we chose this hotel because of the fitness facilities when we arrived on Sunday (at 16:00) it was already closed and when we returned back from our sightseeing tour on Monday (19:30) it was closed once again. In short we haven't used even once the main facility for which we chose this hotel. In addition when the reception is closed there is no one to talk to if one needs anything (e.g. we needed extra toilet paper) and they even take away even the most basic things such as the flavored water jar at the reception.This hotel is advertised as a 4 star hotel but feels more like an Airbnb rental with breakfast facilities.Besides that some of the staff was very rude. While the lady at breakfast was very nice and welcoming, the male waiter was very rude and even complained that we used too many napkins (seriously?).Overall, we were extremely disappointed with this hotel

Really perfect central location with plenty of free secure parking. The room was very comfortable and peaceful (facing the rear of the building). Friendly helpful staff with lots of tourist information to hand. Excellent breakfast buffet, the restaurant evening menu is fairly restricted with some regional classic dishes. In summary a good centre for exploring the region, and the hotel is obviously popular also with bicycle tourists.

The pool was busy and too small, the water looked a bit muddy because the pool lining isn’t blue. Breakfast was a bit sparse It would be nice to have body lotion in the room

Very nice modern hotel in the hart of the village.Everything is at walking distance in 5 minutes. A big plus is the parking and a nice touch and plus is the terrace with the small swimming pool if the weather is nice. The breakfast was very good also.

We had laundry done , not ironed !! Returned to room stuffed into bag.Hairdryer attached to wall difficult to dry hair.Towels in room could do with upgrade.

It was very clean and modern. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It would have been good to know that the hotel restaurant and bar did not open on a Sunday. This is quite common in Austria but if you have never been before it can take you by surprise. We did however have a lovely meal sitting in the sun from a great little cafe in the square.

Fantastic hotel. The beds are very comfortable. Facilities are great. It's quiet at night. Free & secure car parking. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Superb modern hotel in a delightful small town setting. Really easy to find and park and very helpful staff.

It was a shame that the restaurant was closed in the evening of our stay (a Monday) - but so was most of the town!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. Great pool area, with many armchairs and sun chairs, partially in the sun and in the shade. A very nice restaurant, great choice at breakfast.

All the signs and vast majority of leaflets were in German but the staff was helpful with providing translation. The town itself is pleasant but if you want to do sightseeing you will definitely need a car.

Very friendly staff, comfortable and clean room, good breakfast

On Sunday the hotel was basically closed with no member of staff on site. This meant the bar, restaurant, fitness centre and sauna were also closed so for half of our 2 day stay we had no hotel facilities. That was disappointing for us.

Noteworthy was certainly the staff. She helped me to get dinner when there was no room service available, she went out of her way to get me what I requested. Besides the friendly staff, it was clean and quiet, no noise from the outside and the gym was very modern. Good WiFi and perfect free parking place. At the end of my stay they handed me a personalized Christmas card.

The towels are a bit rough - not too bad but could be a bit softer. Also the gym is well equipped but there aren't many machines but for a hotel stay it's perfect (the good thing is that its clean and very modern).

Being in the middle of town is a bonus. The buffet breakfast was good. Personnel were very friendly and efficient. The new pool and sun terrace were nicely done. Rooms were comfortable with well equipped bathroom.s

The restaurant and bar were closed on the first evening, couldn't get a hot drink either during the day. No room service, it would be a good idea if tea and coffee making facilities were in the room, and when restaurant is closed there should still be a limited catering service available for residents.Best to visit Stainz and surrounding area Thursday to Sunday when famous Buschenshanks and local attractions appear to be open.
