Hotel Don Ferrante

Was very spacious 2bedroom. Great for a family. Fully equipped kitchen. Owner friendly and helpful. Hotel restaurant was excellent. Also washer was a great extra.

Only 2 of us and we would rather have been at the hotel with restaurant.

View was excellent and breakfast with good variety. The room was cozy

The location and the view was absolutely stunning. Great price for being at Bellagio. The breakfast was included and it was really good.

During my travels across Europe, I stayed at many places — but this hotel was hands down the best experience of the entire trip.It exceeded all my expectations.Beyond the beautiful room and the serene location, what truly made this stay memorable was the staff.A special shoutout to Juliet at the reception — incredibly humble, kind, and genuinely helpful.She went out of her way to assist us in planning our two-day stay in Como, giving us recommendations on where to go, what to skip, and even details about ferry routes. Her support made everything smoother.If you're arriving via the Como Train Station, just hop on the C130 or C30 bus right in front. The ride takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes.Pro tip: travel light — the bus gets packed with tourists, and finding space for heavy luggage can be a challenge.The ferry terminal is just 10–15 minutes away, making it super convenient to explore Lake Como. There’s also a grocery store within walking distance if you need anything.The room itself was spotless and cozy, complete with a small private terrace where we enjoyed our tea with a view of nature.And yes — the bum shower was a delightful addition! Small details like that really elevate the comfort level.One gesture I truly appreciated: we had to catch a bus at 5:20 AM, and the staff prepared a packed breakfast for us — generous, delicious, and neatly packed in a branded hotel bag (which we took home as a keepsake).That kind of thoughtfulness is rare.Breakfast at the hotel is a treat — not just for the food but the view. Imagine sipping coffee while looking out at the lush greenery and the lake.The bar and café are also fantastic, perfect for winding down after a long day.And yes — you can take the same C130/C30 bus back to the station when leaving.I’m already looking forward to returning.If you're visiting Lake Como — this is the place to be.

Long walk to Bellagio downtown

The view of the lake was nice.

I booked 7 days and checked out after 2. I could not stand up straight in several areas in the room. (Pictures included). The bathroom was one of those places. If I did not remember to duck after washing my face, I would hit the back of my head on the edge of a solid piece of wood, The manager, Marta, who at first, did not want to admit that she was the manager, claimed that the pictures that they posted on Bookings were self-evident. There is no way that anyone can measure, by looking at those pictures alone, that this room's beams were hung dangerously low and would present a problem for anyone of average height. For the 2 days that we did stay, I had to remember to duck while moving about the room. This is not a recipe for a relaxing vacation. I told Marta that the pictures they posted on Bookings should include an alert for people of average height. My wife is 5'2" and had difficulty standing in some areas in the room. I asked for my money back, nothing more. I did not want compensation, only a refund. They offered 2 days refusing a full refund. I could not find other accommodations in Bellagio and had to leave the lake area and purchase a room miles away. So, not only did I pay for a vacation for 5 days in a room that I did not occupy, but then had to purchase a second vacation elsewhere abandoning my desired vacation spot; Lake Como. Additionally, the entire hotel is hot. Their stand-alone air-conditioner in the room read 19 degrees Celsius, (66.2F), but could not and did not cool the room. It is obvious that the hotel is aware of this because they had a fan, pointed at the bed, in our room. They also have fans throughout the hotel. Even the receptionist had a fan pointed at her throughout our stay.

The hotel was right on Lake Como & our balcony gave us an outstanding view! The staff was helpful & the breakfast so good.

We had to walk into Bellagio which was a little challenging with the hills & no sidewalk - about 15 to 20 minutes. The room was quite small with no facilities to put your luggage on.The restaurant ceiling leaked from a recent stom & dripped down on some tables & floor.

The hotel is very nice. The location is AMAZING! It’s only 15-20 minutes walking to the center of Bellagio but it’s located in such a picturesque place with amazing views and very quiet atmosphere. The hotel is clean and the stuff is very nice and friendly

I have a only a few small things to nitpick about: - No blackout curtains. We would wake up at 7 am every day just because it’s so bright that it’s difficult to continue sleeping in such bright room (which is amazing during the day but when you’re on a vacation you want to sleep a little bit longer) - No hangers in the bathroom to hang towels. That was a little bit inconvenient because there are literally no place to hang your towels. - It’d be amazing to have a small shelf in the shower to place our travel-size shampoo bottles, conditioners and other personal things people usually use when they shower. But overall, the hotel is very nice, I’d definitely recommend.

Superb staff and good size rooms.

Beds weren’t super comfortable, no black out blinds, our sink was stopped up a few times. The walk I to town isn’t too long, but not as senic as we thought.
