GR Solaris Caribe All Inclusive

Friendly staff. Good quiet location

Drinks super sugary. Food just okay.

Pool was not clean and they do not have good service by the pool for the drinks or the snack area.

As this resort is next door to the Royal Solaris, it is basically two resorts in one. However, the GR Caribe does lack a shop, but it can be found next door.

Overall, the hours of the bars I did not find appealing, nor did I find the food options worth it. The two restaurants available require a reservation, and guest services appears to not be able to put a reservation in for you. + There is no nightlife.

Too loud music at the swimming pool, the spa you can use only, if you take a massage which is in other hotel the spa is separate from the massage, the hot tab outside was not hot. A la cart with Japanese food was loud, no AC not relaxing at tall.

Service, location and food and beverages

My room was close to beach and pool.

We did not get a tour and saw other guests being shown around. Staff asked if we received a free gift. After telling him "no", he never came back to us. Room smelled like mold, "closed up". You could not open windows for fresh air. Food was bland/no varie

The location is quite good, one bus away from downtown Cancun, ferry docs, or other parts of the hotel zone. Having access to Royal Solaris is great, since that resort is much newer and better maintained. Staff were generally nice, beach access is good.

The elevator is terrible. It never comes, or comes and doesn't move for minutes. We ended up walking to the 5th floor every day. The bartenders were really average. Anything other than standard drinks were usually bad. Food was hit or miss, buffet was ok.

The staff was the ONLY part that made this stay better.

Our room was worn out, dirty,& smelly. You can see through the front door of our room. That's a security issue. You can hear the guests next door like they are in the same room. The climate in the common areas is always hot. Their AC may have been broken.

The food at the restaurants that required reservations was great! The view was beautiful. Room service was also exceptional. The open courtyards were beautiful.

1 attendant at front desk, buffet food was lousy, toilet paper was worse than RV paper, shampoo and soap was 30 years old in quality, smell and performance. It was linked to royal solaris and felt like a party boat not a resort. Added sanitation fee???

Hotel, restaurants, pools, beach, grounds were very clean. Loved that we had beach chairs for no additional charge at the beach.

All the staff were extremely nice! Everything was very clean and lovely!

The hot tub was kinda cold

The room was clean with a great AC, a lot of movie channels on TV and comfortable beds.

Too many stairs to climb throughout the resort. A little bit of a hassle to make dinner reservations.

everything,location, awesome beach, the food was excellent, the nightly shows were magnificent, the main pool entertainment was awesome but the most important aspect of what I like about this hotel was the personel, all so humble, respectful, prefessional

Hotel is directly on the beach

The rooms are out dated, not enough activity during your stay for kids or adults. Food was horrible, only played one group of music only Spanish

It took front desk over an hr each time to pick up. They said they were short staffed. The menu was only 6 choices. Got tired of the same 6 meals. There was no free shuttle to and from the airport.

The hotel is like a maze . It was quite hard to find the location of restaurants or spa. The elevator seemed like breaking down a lot ? We would stuck in ac-less elevator . Drinks were watered down. Most restaurants required reservations for dinner

My family and I have been here a few times. We enjoy the small and intimate nature of it while being able to go next door at the sister hotel Solaris.

Location in Hotel zone area. Pool was quite and nice and cleanliness and was impressive.

Total we had booked 3 rooms & we did not get rooms we paid for. I had to change our rooms once, my daughter had to change twice & they had no rooms left to change for my son. Waste of $$ to pay for deluxe & seafront. Food is average and generic

Service and wait times were subpar. Waiting more than 45 minutes to check in, zero leniency with early check-in (even 30 mins although room was ready), then have to wait another 45 minutes for check-in. Service staff at Bogavante was extremely rude.
