Good location, basic room but very clean

Staff did not try very hard to confirm my pre-payment. I had to pay again and now have paid twice.

The location was a big bonus of this hotel central to everything. Staff were very helpful with car parking, sight seeing and also restaurant recommendations.

We really did not have anything negative to say about this hotel.

The bar located at the corner was very loud late into the night. We know this is not under the control of the hotel, but it was annoying. Pillow was very thin

Very noisy until 11pm or later when the restaurant closes. Smelled like the restaurant's food in the whole hotel. The heating didn't work (in December, surrounded by snow) and there were no extra blankets. We were not able to report it because when we found out that the heating was not working, no one was at the reception. I would not recommend it and we will not return.

Very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Very good food especially lunch and dinner. Great location. Good parking arrangement with hotel.

In a great location. It felt traditional but had good soundproofing and was warm and comfortable. Nice windows opening onto juliet balconies.

Cleanliness. Staff. Facilities. All great.

The restaurant was separated from reception by a wall and a heavy door. If it was all open space with bench tops and all glass it would look great.

Great location and cleanliness of the rooms.

Hotel bed is literally like sleeping on the floor. It’s incredibly hard , the pillow is about as thin as a pillow case. We woke up each morning with back aches. We paid almost 400€ for two nights. I definitely will not recommend.

Loved the location of the hotel to the lake and the quaint shops and eateries.

Central location. Very clean. Good bathroom. Good mattress.

Terrible old pillows, small room, breakfast average and overpriced, room v hot and if opened window was noisy outside (party goers till late, followed by noisy garage truck activity). We found out afterwards that included with the city tax, we were entitled to a pass to use public transport for free but had not been given them by the hotel. Our friends staying in a nearby hotel were.

The staff is very flexible, we moved from family room to apartment. My second time visiting vevey and this time during Swiss national day, it was a great memory.

Brilliant apartment in this lovely hotel in a fantastic location. The staff were really friendly and helpful, but also inobstrusive. The size of the apartment was fantastic - two good sized bedrooms, a decent bathroom and a bit open-plan living area. And having this self-catering accommodation with the servicing of a hotel was fabulous.Kitchen pretty well equipped and we cooked full meals with ease here.

The shower lacked water pressure so was a bit disappointing.A cheese grater and a fish slice would be useful in the kitchen - being quite picky just because everything else was so good!

Very convenient location to go to Montreux Jazz Festival and see the surroundings. Staff friendly and the room was clean and quiet.

The bed was very uncomfortable and the mattress too hard. Doesn’t have air conditioning and it can be very hot in the summer.

- super friendly staff - great location near market place & lake & cafes & restaurants & shops - parking on market place nearby - easy late night self check-in- hotline at night (again: very friendly & helpful) - shutters and curtains for a darker space

- had called in, paid more for a double room on 3rd floor than single on 4th (too hot as they have no AC); but at check-in found a key for 4th floor - way too warm a room, and turns out a double (why did I pay more than for a double…?); also wasn’t a nice looking room at all (45) that looked like in a hostel and bad taste… ; however, called in and got a trim on 3rd floor - much better, less hot, better looking! Grateful - still not an amazing standard of room - while everything was clean and proper. - a little bit noisy in the morning from cafe on the street (and a street musician, but only later) - be aware that there’s no AC

Room was very clean and in central location

Could do with a ceiling fan or air conditioning.The windows need to remain closed in summer due to church bells throughout the night and noise from people at night

- very nice staff - perfect location (lake, train station, in the town)- big room

- noise levels (construction site right next door starting very early in the morning, very noisy bar on the other side of the street)- some of the interior could use modernization - the room got rather hot and stuffy quickly (and opening the window means a lot of noise)

Pretty basic accommodation. No frills but clean enough. Breakfast was functional, the onsite restaurant however was just outstanding and totally unexpected given the basic nature of the hotel. I’d come back for the restaurant but maybe not the rooms.

Tiny shower and not much water pressure.

The location is really good.It´s located in the city center, near the local street market.The staff is good and courteous.

The hotel is a bit old, and one of the days of our stay the elevator was broken.But nothing that is really bad.
