El Encanto All Inclusive Resort

Large property with lots of lounging/pool areas.

Constant upsells. Time shares. Premium food or alcohol. Room upgrades. Lots of bugs in the kitchen. Room deck wading pool was always broken. Management staff gave us empty platitudes and never followed thru on their promises or contacted us afterwards.

Quality of the staff and the food.

"Owners" (guests that own timeshares) who act like they own the loungers -- day after day putting stuff on the loungers early to save them (against resort rules) for the entire day...and then may only spend a few hours in them during the afternoon.

The location and the beautiful views . The landscaping was maintained well .

Some staff were excellent and very friendly . However , service tended to be very slow and nonexistent at times . They were out of a lot of things , food wise .

Certain things felt disorganized. When we arrived I was total the shuttle I had booked on their website was no longer available. They refunded me, but it would've been nice to know this before I had gotten there so I could've made other shuttle plans.

They want to upswell you for everything here. They will tell you at the front desk they can give you the last room in the owners building with the best views but they do that for everyone. The ac in the rooms don¿t work well at all. Customer service poor

Very clean. Staff is responsive and respectful. All inclusive was great either many options

Views, views and more views! The cliff side resort had the perfect view of the arch and downtown area. Sunsets were amazing! The food options were wonderful and very flavorful.

They need significant improvement in service. A few times it took us over an hour to get a Drink. Unless you were timeshare members, service was horrible. Also, Our room was cleaned once during our week stay and still got charged sanitation fee daily.

Our room was quiet, clean and most pools were not crowded. Staff were friendly and helpful.

There were no instructions on who the shuttle company was, and none of the shuttle drivers knew where El Encanto was either, so we ended up hiring a private driver which cost quite a bit of money. The name of the actual resort is Hacienda Encantada!

Staff was fantastic- helpful friendly, eager to provide service. Daily housekeeping and turn down service was nice. Food was good with lots of choices (but often served lukewarm.) The location was beautiful with a little chapel at the top of the hill.

The timeshare staff were extremely pushy. You can¿t go through the lobby without being nagged about attending their 2 hour presentation. They were so aggressive and made us so uncomfortable that we won¿t go back. If you go, just avoid their presentation.

Leaving

So May things States all Inclusive!!! 1. At check-in i was told the beer in the room was included but it was not i had to pay. 2 i tried booking table as soon as we had checked told all booked you can eat at the Bar. 3. No Coffee free coffee avail.

Service staff modified the tip by adding an extra ¿1¿ in front of the the tip amount, at the Patio pool-side restaurant.

The all inclusive option

The Covid testing was very disorganized. The meals were mostly buffets. Difficult to use Uber. Resort is against it.

Great customer service.

The price is not cheep and when you arrive there they charge you for everything. The beach is so far and they have a shuttle that bring you there but it goes every 2 hours. The service is rude. The idea of all inclusive doesn't apply to this place they want money for everything

Beautiful pool on vista side, kind staff.

It’s really hard to know what is included at this all inclusive. They have “bills” that you sign at the end of each meal, but don’t get charged to you. I guess they are just for accounting, but it stressed us out not knowing for sure what they were for.They don’t tell you anything about the property like restaurant opening times, map of property etc unless you go on a tour where they try to sell you the vacation club.They upgraded us to the vista side which has a beautiful rooftop pool, but our room was facing a large loud construction area that we weren’t warned about.

Clean and pretty but lots of construction sites

Our pool was broken, maintenance opened our door at 6am without warning, a few times maintenance was in our room to try to fix the pool while we were there which was very uncomfortable even though he was very nice we did not want that, we were told that we could not get our fridge restocked even though we paid for premium all inclusive, the pool ended up flooding and making it impossible to use our balcony
