Lovely buffet breakfast with unlimited coffee! Perfect location and super views of mountains. My dream spot.

Really excellent staff and super-helpful. Very comfortable and clean. Strangely the food I ordered was, for this outstanding part of the world, below average. A dish listed as “Spaghetti Carbonara Traditional” was anything-but Carbonara or Traditional! It was delicious but not what I ordered. I chose poorly. Unfortunately the Schnitzel was also disappointing, based on a few other Schnitzels I’ve eaten in Salzburgerland this week. Also the pastries at breakfast were strangely hard work considering Dankl is also a bakery.

Only the food. But that wouldn’t stop me returning for the excellent accommodation and the kind staff.

The place is just awesome. Friendly staff, especially the owner. Nothing exceptional about the breakfast, but no visitor goes there for food. Considering the location (compared to other hotels in the area), the hotel deserves well the 3* rating.

Excellent location in a beautiful village. Wonderful view to the surrounding mountains. Lovely ice cream sold below our room and good food sold in the restaurant. We have a balcony looking up at the mountains and it was covered if it were to rain. Spacious room with all the amenities you could wish for. Extremely clean. Generous, good quality breakfast with eggs cooked to order.

I asked for secure parking but left bike outside and it got soaked.

Clean, bright and welcoming. The smell of fresh pastries as you come down to breakfast is wonderful! Garage parking was available for my motorcycle too. Lastly, fantastic value for money

Nothing to dislike

Very modern, clean, light and contemporary room. Very helpful and well organized staff. Customer centred. Excellent value for money food. Good portions and delicious. Huge amount of choice at breakfast.

The rooms are quite small and relatively modest, yet not uncomfortable

After a very long motorcycle ride from Denmark, the hotel was a warm and comfortable welcome in the Austian alps. We had e nice dinner, the service was incredible and the breakfast the next morning was EXCELLENT!!

Everything was in one place, room, restaurant and bakery. The woman manager was very courteous and helpful. She gave me a card for a free ride on the local gondola and other local attractions.

Our room faced onto the moderate busy road so it was difficult to sleep longer in the moorning

Everything was super- location in the center but not noisy- breakfast was delicious and the bread was amazingly tasty- you get a card for free that gives you free transport access, e.g. you can go to and from Salzburg for free. Also many attractions are for free or reduced price, the cable car to the mountain is free, etc. - staff is friendly and helpful- a restaurant is on the ground floorOne of those rare places where you don't expect much but it blows your mind and you enjoy every minute there

The breakfast was good qualitiy

They didnt give the room in time. We had to wait for it 2 hours.The receptionist was full in bad mood,and she didnt told us anything about the hotel or about what time is the breakfast.The hotel is renovated, but you can see on everything that it is used several times.The food smell is really repulsive in the recepction and also in the corridor upstairs át the hotel room entrance.The dinner was like in a buffet on the mountain. The waiters alsó was full bored.We didnt like this hotel.

Needed air con in room. Water in fridge and kettle would have been nice.

The room was spacious (we booked a standard double room) and clean. Staff were very friendly. We did not have time to have breakfast and the lady at the reception was very kind to offer us coffee take away and snacks of our own choice from the breakfast area. Very much appreciated.

The sitting area at the main restaurant could be a bit more spacious.

Lovely suite with very comfortable bed and the jacuzzi bath was superb! Excellent restaurant and delicious sweets/desserts!

Spacious, bright room. Great restaurant and patisserie.

Not only the food was excellent but also the home made sweets, reception as a guest and room.

The whole approach of the staff is to please and everything is to a high standard. Having a lift and being near to Gondola lift is crucial for me.
