This family-run hotel offers rooms with balcony, free Wi-Fi and free parking. It stands at the foot of the Braunenberg Mountain, a 10-minute drive from the center of Aalen. The Hotel Restaurant Vogthof offers a breakfast buffet each morning. A range of local and international meals can be enjoyed in the restaurant or outside on the terrace. All rooms at Hotel-Restaurant Vogthof were newly renovated in spring 2014. The Tiefe Stollen visitor's mine is a 10-minute walk from the Hotel Restaurant Vogthof. The mountains of the Swabian Alb can be explored on bike or on foot from the hotel.

- I guess the room was clean enough. The bathroom had all the accessories one would have expected. The surrounding nature is really nice. One can have a nice walk in the hotel area.
Cons -
- The beds were absolutely horrible and way too soft. I had the impression that I was sleeping in some kind of a boat or something and because of back pain after 30 minutes, I had to sleep on the couch - thanks God there was that couch there. The window near the bed had no shutter so at 5 AM it was as bright as it gets in the room. The room or the door was poorly sound proofed and one could quite clearly hear the other guests. There was a strong smell of burnt oil in the hallway. The bathroom is incredibly small. The staff at the reception was not in the best mood.
