Blu Rooms Santorini

The views from our room could not be beat - we looked out over the caldera. The staff were kind and very hospitable. They had just finished painting the whole hotel (May 2025) and everything was fresh and clean. The breakfasts were good. They made great suggestions for food.

Our room only had one small window, and nothing looking over the caldera (you had to open a door and sit on the patio to see it). So, the room felt small, dark and a little cave like. We spent alot of time on the patio to counterbalance the cave-like effect.

Loved the view. Staff were friendly! The swimming pool was a very nice addition to have too

The location was very nice, but not the most convenient I suppose.

We loved Blu Rooms for a number of reasons, including: it was exceptionally clean and well maintained, it was operated as a family business where multiple generations were involved in the day to day running and all were incredibly friendly and attentive to any need, the bed was very comfortable, it has great views over the caldera, the township of Akrotiri was easy to access through gorgeous winding streets where exceptional restaurants and eating places and a well stocked mini mart can be found, breakfast is substantial and can be eaten outdoors with a spectacular view. The pool is 200 metres away from the property and perched on the cliff face with magnificent views. Thank you Vassilios, your wife and parents, and nephew Alex, for making us feel so welcome.

Lovely hotel, everything was great. Good breakfast, lovely staff. Only downside, no restaurant on site and relatively long walk to a restaurant. Otherwise Fabulous! Beautiful view!

Beautiful view, lovely staff & breakfast. The location is somewhat away from the annoying Santorini traffic, so it’s still peaceful. Really lovely place!

The view of Caldera is very beautiful! The stuff was ok and the room cleaned every day.

The swimming pool is pretty far from the rooms.

Welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Clean apartment. Beautiful place. All perfect.

Photos displayed were incorrect Staff were very unfriendly Buffet breakfast was a joke, only cold food was supplied besides pre boiled eggs. Drinks and fruits were limited to one serve and was not able to be selected Pool was 400m away and was a public pool Wifi did not work at all in the room Very disappointing

The view from the balcony in front of the room was amazing. The breakfast served each day was excellent with plenty of choice and the patron went out of his way to provide gluten free options for my wife. The owner was helpful prior to and throughout our stay, even sending a video of how to access the room when our flight was delayed!

Our suite was well designed, combining traditional Cycladic architecture with modern amenities. The room featured a private balcony, where we could enjoy unobstructed views of the caldera. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the suite was well equipped .

The pool is independent where we had to walk for 3 minutes and the breakfast was limited but in general very good to start your day with.

The view from our room was spectacular! After being in Athens for several days we were very happy to stay in Akrotiri rather than one of the busier villages. The staff was very friendly and the village was fun to explore. Lots of great restaurants near by and it was also very easy to catch the bus to visit Thira.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The breakfasts were lovely with fresh coffee and fruit. The views over the caldera were spectacular.

Swimming pool was a little walk away and there was no pool bar / drinks available.

The view was absorbing and the breakfast was some of the best food we had while in Santorini. So fresh and so much to choose from.

The location was great and the owner was very helpful.

Everything was good but we prefer softer mattress.

Sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view , it was amazing. The best part is that although it is so close to the road there is almost no noise, absolute peace , bird sounds and spectacular view

Very clean . Very helpful staff. They arranged our motorcycle hire and airport transfers for us. The contacts they had with the local businesses helped us out no end.
