- Everything! Views, staff, food, all was perfect!
- The room and bathroom were a decent size and the view from our terrace was quite good and nice.
- We went for a 5 day vacation and i can say that Apanemo was a very inspired choice. We did not expect to find such a friendly and helpful staff. The surrounding area and the hotel pools are crazy beautiful. And you get all that without the big crowds and noise you can find in the major cities of Santorini. To get around you can book anything from the hotel if you ask the staff, things like: car rental, boat rides, restaurant reservations. It was a really nice experience for us :)
Cons -
- however the bathroom had damaged walls and dirt on the skirt boards on the edges of it also a smell was coming from the shower drains once you start taking a shower. The sheets and pillows had stains on them and that made it uncomfortable for me personally, breakfast was also disappointing, small amounts and very limited.
- The bed was upstairs on narrow latter, difficult at night or with wine ?
- heat poolwater cold

Great view, pool, restaurant, water pressure. I didn't rent a car and they would take me where I needed to go less than a taxi. Breakfast was included and very good! Had dinner there a couple times and good too. They will help you pick out tours and housekeeping tidied up every day sometimes multiple times and left water! Quiet location which I wanted.

This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in my life. The room was stunning, we stayed in the junior suite and it is SO worth it. The staff goes above and beyond, cleaning your room multiple times a day, providing so many services including amazing breakfast everyday. They made our Santorini experience SOO much better. Thank you thank you!
Location, pool, views, and the hotel staff are unbeatable.
The location is spectacular. I love the quiet elegance it exudes. The owners and staff - constantly smiling. Helpful too.
Nothing!
I stayed here with my mother and neither of us could have imagined how excellent the experience would be, it exceeded all our expectations. They have a variety of options for breakfast(also gluten free), the rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is very friendly and the best of all is the guidance and support they give you throughout your stay, offering transportation to the bus stop and pick you up from the same stop to take us to the hotel, they also offered transportation beyond the stop (for an extra cost). They welcomed us with the best energies and with some drinks from the house, they also gave us a map and the bus schedules so we could know how to get around, the best welcome possible, suddenly you feel centered and at home with that welcome. The hotel restaurant was closed, and since buses to Akrotiri only run until 7 p.m., we thought it would be very difficult to get dinner. Even so, they offered to help us go to a restaurant (they were kind enough to find me a gluten-free option) whenever we needed it. The hotel is a bit far from the bus stop, but it wasn't a problem. It's worth it for the views, which are beautiful from wherever you are.
Loved it all
beautiful property, stunning pool and views, staff were very friendly and kind, good options for breakfast
location is definitely away from the action. if you’re staying here you will need a set of wheels to get around. a good 45 minute drive to Oia
Everything was good, the room, the staff, the pool and especially the view.
The indicator value for money here needs improvement.
the breakfast is so good like we are having it in a brunch restuarant. the view is so nice and it is beautiful in the hotel.there are some lovely cats having sun bath.
it is a bit stuffy in the air in the room, especially when the shower is just done. it is windy outside but no wind would come into the room. it took a while to have the floor in the restroom to dry.
Breakfast was creative & tasty. Selection is made from a menu the day before & brought to your table the next morning, which is efficient given the limited space of the breakfast room. Staff are friendly & eager to please, but we missed interacting with the local owners who had been on scene when we stayed there some years ago. It seems like the labor force on the island are all from somewhere else! The view is phenomenal, but it was very windy & we could not sit at the lovely pool or on our terrace to look at it. We booked a room based on its terrace with caldera view, but had to settle for looking out some small windows.
The room was sparsely furnished & the bathroom, especially the shower, needed major scrubbing and/or remodeling to get rid of mildew stains. A kettle was provided when requested, but there was only one bedside lamp & they could not provide one for the other bedside table. Bed was too firm for us, but the linens were of good quality. In general, this hotel has a great location, but is in need of renewal compared to our stay there a few years ago. It was the end of a very busy season & showed it. If we return, we would be more selective about room choice. High winds largely confined us to our room, and we needed the interior to provide a little more comfort.
We really loved our stay at Apanemo. The views were breathtaking - waking up to it was especially wonderful. The staff were extremely attentive and nothing was too much of an ask for them. We thought the facilities were excellent and the rooms very clean.
Excellent view. Fabulous room. Great staff service
Not the fault of the hotel but very windy by the pool. Extremely cold pool. Sometimes staff a bit too eager to take away my plates, usually before my wife had finished her meal
This hotel in Akrotiri village of Santorini offers amazing views of the caldera lake. From the balcony in the breakfast area, you can even see the eastern sky - so it's possible to view both the famous Santorini sunsets and sunrises.Apart from this, it was a decent place to stay. Our spacious room had windows that face the lake and volcano island. Across the caldera in the distance, we could see the opposite coast.Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious and featured some traditional Greek dishes we could sample.
Our visit was in late October when the temperatures drop at night, especially as wind blows across the lake. So it was unfortunate that our rooms didn't have any heating option. After a warm, sunny day, we spent the evening and night huddled under sheets and wearing a sweater indoors. We also had a problem with hot water on the first day, which compounded this as well. So take along warm clothing if you travel in late autumn or winter.
It has the most incredible views I’ve ever seen and the staff was absolutely amazing. They will drive you to local spots and pick you up later.
We had a room where the bed was up in a loft (dome shaped roof). The MAJOR problem is that the center of the room where the bed was had a ceiling just a little over 5 feet tall! On the sides of the room it was only 4 feet tall (which is where the stairs are. So as we approached the top of the stairs we had to crawl on our hands and knees to get into the loft and climb into bed. Unfortunately I’m 6’ tall and 59 years old crawling into bed.The room is rustic and extremely old. The windows/shutters have been painted over so many times that they didn’t want to close easily. The couch in the main space is made out of formed concrete or stone with a thin pad on top to sit on.The pool is NOT heated as advertised. In October it was way too cold for anybody to go in. They really should not advertise that it is heated. Hopefully they will remove that as it’s unfair to guests coming in the cooler months.
The staff are numerous and very helpful. Orientation on arrival exceptionally helpful. Fantastic breakfast
No kettle in room. Pool water very cold
