Ocean Breeze Resort

The suite we had in our group was large and spacious and ocean front. Very nice.

I had 3 rooms, one for me and my husband and 2 for kids. One room was a giant suite ocean front. But the lady at the front desk gave that to my kids and me and my husband the tiniest room. she should have thought about that, and let me know!

I liked that there was a pool and restaurant and a mini kitchen.

It was very noisy early in the morning with kids playing in the pool.

Everything was great

Right on a major road and traffic noise. But, it was not too disruptive to sleep. I slept well.

Actions match words.It's always a good sign. It is clear the propriety. He says what he wants to do, and from what I can see, i've done it and done it really well.Next time i'm in toledo I don't have to wonder where to stay.This will be the place!

The curtains were great for making it dark in the rooms, but it would be nice to have face curtains as well. So you could have white and privacy. The windows by the pool has that, but the outside front did not.

Business systems - difficulty in producing an invoice

All staff were courteous and accommodating. Place feels very private.very comfy beds and pillows except for an extra cot that was so uncomfortable and not worth the price. A folding bed would have been better to sleep on.

1. Stayed at the Queen sized room beside the kitchen. There was a stench coming from the kitchen sink. Probably from the grease trap. 2. Rented another room upstairs and paid P500+ for an extra bed. The cot was very uncomfortable having barely an inch of foam support. The cot itself was also uncomfy and the wood creaks everytime you move. 3. Not a big one, just a little nuisance. We missed the place a few times coz they repainted from mostly starkly white to a darker orangey color.

The bed was comfortable.

The spa tub had cobwebs and was dirty. The pool was dirty. There was not a lot of information about the amenities.

Beautiful location right next to the beach, food was very good and staff are lovely. There is a surcharge if you pay by credit card but they do give you a choice if you would like to pay cash to avoid paying extra.

Room 1 was convenient right across from where our kids were in but we had to endure the plumbing odour from the bathroom. There are no pool towels but we use the room towels for this. When asking for fresh towels they won’t hesitate to give you but they are a little damp. Food, drinks and room prices were same price as the city hotel we were in.

When you turned on the light and exhaust fan in the bathroom, you were assaulted with the smell of sewage. It appeared that the bathroom floor drain is connected to the sewage pipes. Ended up not using the light and exhaust fan because of the smell. There was also a large cockaroach near the bin in the bathroom.Considering the resort is in Toledo and a distance from the city centre, I believe it was overpriced.

Zero sound privacy between rooms. Door unacceptable

Staff was very helpful. I hosted a lunch for a couple of friends and their kids (including twin boys age 4). The more shallow pool was perfect for the boys and the lunch was great - we ordered from the menu and everything was perfect.

Lighting in the room is a bit dim. I usually like to take a walk in the morning, but didn’t feel safe enough to do so as all of the properties are built our right up to the roads without a set-back to a sidewalk. Also a lot of roaming / barking dogs… Although the property has direct access to the beach, it’s not really functional as the sand has all been washed away leaving a very rocky / gravely surface.

Wifi needs improving

Food was good.The young girl on reception was nice and helpful.

Walls are VERY thin in rooms. Very little privacy. You can hear the people in the next room very clearly.Was charged over 1,600 Peso (around 25 USD) for bag of laundry. Earlier in the week at another place, I was only charged 105 Peso for same bag.

I only like the staff accommodating but the room is not, the Aircon is not cold enough maybe their Aircon was too old not cold

Other than the bathroom smelling little sewage, and dirty sheets on the bed, the stay was very Good

The hotel allows all the local kids and their families to use the pool at the hotel for a fee. There were birthday parties involving lots of teenagers and families bringing in their own food and washing it in the sinks by the pool and backing up the sinks with food they poured into them. Also, some trash blew into the pool, which the pool needs to be cleaned and the water treated as it is.
