Be Resort Mactan

Hotel grounds and room was beautiful. Beautiful view, nice beach and pool area. Room was very spacious and nice.

Some of the food was good, some of the food was just alright and a little pricey.

Hotel rooms dated. Classy King Suite has balcony that you cannot use. Unable to open balcony door to enjoy Ocean View. Has air-conditioning unit on balcony. Requested to leave and checked out. Still in disputes with property for refund.

Nice food and service of the staff for breakfast.

Poor accessing road and neighboring environment. Seems typical in Cebu philippines.

Not much to like since it was under construction

The food was to expensive, even for American standards. The hotel will be under renovation until 2020 so don't plan on a nice place. It was dusty and smelly and over priced.

It might be nice - once the construction is complete.

The hotel is under MAJOR construction. I'm shocked you don't see this reflected in other reviews. The pool is closed until at least January 2018. The beach was open but was a construction site. I do not recommend this place until renovation is complete.

Breakfast was very good. Staff very good..

Wifi connection was terrible. A renovation is underway so very noisy during the day. Room was cold so I now I have a terrible head cold. Ants in the room. Only place to dry wet swimming clothes was in shower. They never dried. TV is small

Venue fir the reunion

1) no open balcony…despite it being pool and seaview2) no soundproofing…can hear noise everywhere from the neighboring room, hallway, ground3) weak water…even lost supply one time4) old and aged white towels5) pedestral bfast6) expensive food prices7)

Over all stuff are friendly and place is clean.

Should be free for kids breakfast if checking in 4 person they only eat so little. And suggestion a shuttle bus for airport and charge them like a cab should be okay.

Early breakfast, nice clean rooms

The water in the shower had a little funky smell, i didn't get my typical breakfast buffet choices (no sausages, ham, or bacon)

Hotel was clean, and swimming pool was good

Front desk was not very helpful, and there were a series of minor issues.

Room had a nice ocean view and private beach

The facility was a bit old and seemed to poorly maintained. When we came to check in, the front desk was overcrowded with long queues and the staff seemed negligent to guests.

The staff was so kind and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was so good !

There are no restaurants nearby, just a little 7/11 store walking distance but there are little boys around asking for money all the time .....

Great pool and ocean entrance

House keeping only came half of the time. They were out of towels at the pool as well as the room everyday. There was no where to hang your used towels to dry as you had to reuse them most days.

The location is great, and it’s good bang for your buck. Everyone who works on the premises was incredibly kind to us.

They didn’t clean our room for three days and we have a 4 month old baby so our trash cans were full of dirty diapers. When we asked for house keeping during one of those days(at around 11am) they didn’t come until 7:30-8pm and of course our baby was already sleeping. We asked for a crib ahead of time but were told they didn’t have any once we arrived. About 70% of the menu wasn’t available. Only the restaurant and rooms have AC so we were bitten by a ton of mosquitoes while trying to use the facilities. The teapot also boils over when trying to heat up water and only filling it with just a little bit of water..We were told no laundry facilities so just be aware of that if you are a light packer. Literally saw a woman with crutches having to maneuver herself up all the flights of stairs with her families help because there’s no elevator that takes you to the restaurant.

Not sure how this place has a 4 star rating, for the high price I would recommend elsewhere

The property was clean and pretty

Only air conditioning in the rooms and restaurant. And beach part was not the big

The resort in it's entirety with very helpful,attentive and courteous staff. Pool and beach layout very relaxing and enjoyable. Nice,comfortable bed with complete bathroom amenities and spacious shower stall with very good hot/cold water pressure.

Door to the "balcony" doesn't open to be able to let in the air or breeze from the outside.

Dining experience was lovely (breakfast lunch and dinner)

Front Desk Staff was unorganized, irritating, and wasted our time/disturbed our sleep
