Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu

Very beautiful hotel. Wish we had a few more days to enjoy it more than we did. I would recommend 3-5 nights minimum. Great for couples and families with kids. This hotel has everything. Very ritzy

Beautiful hotel with great amenities. Staff are great and friendly able to assist with anything at anytime.

Nothing. My experience there was the worst ever. Ive stayed in 2 star hotels with better service. I felt ripped off. I did not recieve the service I payed for. And they are not compensating me at all for there horrible service.

I received the email to make a bid for upgrading the room and I put a pid and they accepted , by the way, I I visited the hotel to celebrate and a special occasion, and when they know about my celebration, they gave me a free upgrade for the room and they choose for me the best view , everything was incredible .. the staff, vibes , finding halal food , the pool , activities, beaches , etc..

There is no bidet in the toilet

I loved the scenery, the staff are so friendly and accommodating, and I like how the place is just so clean and tidy. 5 star resort indeed! Additionally, when we arrived at our room on the first day we laughed so hard cuz my 7 year old son said “Wow! I’ll rate this place and our room 10 out of 10. So funny he said that out of nowhere.

The location, food, staff and overall service

Loved how you have the option to go to the pool or the beach. Our room had an amazing unobstructed view of the water. The gym facilities were great with a steam room and sauna. The spa was also in a beautiful and serene setting.

Ha the fact I got a bad virus on my birthday there is no one’s thought but did kinda spoil things as I was looking forward to swim in sea, and getting wet while coughing is very bad idea. Nothing I not like, shame the price only includes breakfast

The breakfast and the beach were really good. The food was enjoyable and well-prepared, and the beach offered a relaxing, pleasant experience.

The overall design of the room feels somewhat outdated for the price of the hotel. The layout and style don't fully match the modern standards typically expected at this rate.

No WIFI in my 2 rooms for about 10 hours. We were not able to use LAPTOP or phones. Reported this issue 3 times. They fixed after 10 hours???

Clean room and good customer service . Paid around $250 per night but well worth it . Two queen size beds with balcony . Breakfast buffet offered a great selection of quality meat and veggies. Small but adequate gym . Vast grounds with manicured gardens ... very well maintained . The white sand beach was very fine and soft . The marine sanctuary had a diverse , extensive species . Kudos .

Staff is amazing and what you should expect for such an expensive resort. the room was exceptional and it had one of the best showers in Cebu. Breakfast buffet had an excellent selection and the fruit section was amazing. The Chinese restaurant Tea of Spring was amazing, the staff and the food. I loved the beach and the fish were plentiful for snorkeling. Last but not least the resort had ice machines...hell yeah. Most resorts in Cebu don't have this amenity. Even the cheapest hotels in the USA have ice machines!

I would like to see them add bathrooms to the restaurants...having to leave the restaurant to go to the CR is a hassle. Also, the Acqua Italian restaurant had bugs ( a lot) flying around! For such an expensive restaurant this should not be! Lastly, the resort had a emergency drill for the staff which kinda of freaked me and my wife out (should have announced it was a "DRILL" in advance

Unable to get prefer restaurant during this stay and a separate stay later in the week. But alternate foods were very good
