Mondrian Ibiza

Your staff was very friendly and courteous. The food was excellent. The pool facilities were remarkable with the added bonus of easy access to a beautiful beach. The town of Cala Llonga was fun to walk around, shop, and eat.

I just loved our stay at the Mondrian Ibiza. The room, facilities, location and team were all amazing! Very modern facilities and if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation, this is your place!

Our first room was warm. The A/C wasnt working well and we did spend one night in discomfort. The GM really helped us out and was able to change our room to one that was much better. This was very generous of them

Location. Interior decor. Food quality and variety. Staff were great.

Room AC is average at best. We had 3 people in our room and for 2 nights the sofa bed had no bedding despite us asking multiple times. The elevators are out dated given the hotels renovation and pricing.

Great breakfast a la carte. Staff was very friendly and we had a lovely stay. The room was perfect for a small family of three. Our three year old had a grand old time in the play area.

Review:I recently stayed at Mondrian Cala Llonga, and while the setting and decor are beautiful, the overall experience did not meet the standards expected of a 5-star hotel.Pros:•The setting is stunning, with breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere.•The hotel’s decor is stylish, and the room was comfortable and well-designed.Cons:•We had a very distressing experience when we got trapped in the lift for 45 minutes. Despite pressing the emergency button multiple times, we received no response. After calling the hotel reception ourselves and still getting no help, we had to contact the hotel next door to inform Mondrian that we were stuck. After what felt like an eternity, we were finally rescued, with my wife in tears and deeply upset.•We raised this serious health and safety issue with the manager, who promised to follow up. However, all we received was a bottle of cava in the room. When we readdressed our concerns at check-out, we were promised further contact, but never heard anything.•The bar service was very slow, with no menus or drinks brought to us despite waiting. Shockingly, the bar had run out of most of the gins during our stay.•Breakfast service was terrible due to understaffing. The staff were rushed off their feet, and the quality of service suffered as a result.•Coffee pods in the room were not replaced after the first day, leaving us without coffee for the remainder of the stay.This hotel is in no way a 5-star establishment—it’s much more akin to a 4-star. For comparison, we stayed at Petunia Ibiza, another 5-star hotel, and the difference was stark. Petunia is miles ahead in every aspect, from service to quality. Mondrian Cala Llonga has potential but needs significant improvements in service and management to reach true 5-star status.

The breakfast was very good and the location is fantastic.

Unfortunately there was a bit of a bad drain smell inside the hotel around the toilet area and in some of the corridors.

Fantastic location and lovely rooms, great Ibiza vibe pool area.

Distinctly 2 star finish though. No where to change for an evening flight, ended up in the disabled toilet with a broken lock trying to pack a suitcase. Hopefully these are first year hiccups, please be warned.

Rooms were lovely. Clean. Well presented. Very comfortable indeed! Internal areas are modern well presented. And clean. Breakfast was great. Lovely views from Niko. Staff lovely.

The walkway to Hyde and Hyde pool area was old. Worn. And in a state of disrepair.Paint peeling off everywhere. Pool old and not inviting. Litter left buy day beds and not cleaned up promptly.One lift was not working for entire trip. Also door handle on toilet in pool area broken. 2 women got locked in. And again. Was not repaired during 5 day stay. I wouldn't go here again unless they modernised and renovated the outside area. Pool area is important in the heat of Ibiza.

They have obviously spent money on the bar/reception

For a brand new hotel it was shabby and dirty. The sunbeds were filthy. The rug around our bed was dirty. The shared pool area needed some serious TLC

The design of the rooms was nice

- There was a constant awful sewage smell throughout the interior of hotel & inside the rooms, they tried to fix it but it was still so bad and we didn't feel clean or relaxed. - The pool area was horrifically bad, bad design & was messy and un-finished- The staff almost killed me by giving me something with nuts when I told them several times I had a nut allergy

Beautiful hotel with nice, clean and well-designed rooms, room with a view on Cala Long Beach! Loved the interior and the superior suite with sea view is recommended. Very friendly staff :-) I will definitely come back to Mondrian.

Very friendly staff and close to beach. Nice pool area and reserved sunbed area. Direct access to beach. Lobby area is nice. Breakfast good.

This is not a 5 star hotel. Second floor rooms are old and dated. Bed was really creaky. Balcony was dirty as was furniture and trees in front overgrown. Breakfast area is above second floor so very loud banging and furniture moving around in morning. Rug in room was dirty and there was a bad smell in the living area. I do not think this was good value for money or the quality of a five star hotel. Gym was also very dirty / wet / slippy floor.

Location and room size was good

The AC wasn’t working, rooms were humid, smell of sewage on a few days and room cleanliness and amenities weren’t very good.

Doesn’t deserve a 5 stars at all

Rooms were not very clean, service were very bad, whatever you ask, the answer will start « no we don’t have… », towels not very clean, food very poor quality. It deserves a 4 stars not more
