No coffee no brush ? no paste rooms are small

New rooms, lift, clean lobby and everything else.

I gave this place 1-star because when we arrived on 29/4/2023, the place was still under renovation! Why would you have guests when you're still under renovation? That's how you get bad reviews like these.When I arrived, the signboard didn't say Smile Hotel, it reads Havenue instead. That annoyed me already as why the different names? I had to guess, go inside and ask if it was the right place. I was at the most tired point that afternoon as was not to be messed with. Then the receiptionist said sorry there wasn't twin bed rooms even when that's what we booked for. We definitely needed twin beds because my mum and I don't sleep well next to each other. Anyway, they let us stay in this semi-completed twin room, there was construction dust everywhere and there was drilling sounds in the wall the whole 2-3 hours we were there (approx. 1-3pm) just trying to get some sleep. We left in a burst of anger, the receptionist, Rose, was nice and polite though. The supervisor is supposed to refund me after 7 days for the horrible experience, but lo and behold, it's almost 1 month after and the refund is nowhere to be seen, and no contact from the supervisor either. I think his name is En. Akmal. Horrible management! I can happily send anyone a video of how loud the drilling and hammering sounds was in the room, then you can tell me if you can even sit in that room, let alone sleep in it.Parking is also annoying as you'll have to pay for it, you have to park anywhere that doesn't say "Reserved", but right outside the hotel most of the lots are reserved. So you have to walk. the hotel is situated in sort of a slumped business centre.
