Mercure Canberra Belconnen

Very clean and modern. The view overlooking the river is beautiful. The bed is very comfortable and the gym 24/7.

This was a very comfortable hotel. Our room had a view of the Lake through a huge floor to ceiling window which added a tranquil atmosphere. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. I loved the bathroom with the spacious shower and sink area that had lots of shelving space for toiletries. The staff were friendly and it was nice to have a covered parkade so the vehicle was out of the sun. It did cost $15 per night for the parkade but you could park right beside the elevator making unloading luggage simple. I also thought the USB plug ins beside the bed were a great touch. Everyone has a phone so it is nice to make recharging simple. I would highly recommend the Mercure.

The rooms are big, clean and new. Amazing bathrooms. Parking is available at a min charge of 15usd. Breakfast is okay, can be more varieties.

Easy parking. Next to club. Close to Westfield.

Noisy aircon

Loved it all. Rooms very quiet, soundproofing.Comfortable bed and pillows. Large tv .Lots of room and in a good locationClose to buses.

It was fairly close to a handful of restaurants. The view was amazing.

The "double bed" was 2 mattress pushed together while not the worst thing it did make it a little uncomfortable

great location, good size room, new hotel and overall was clean.

no room service and floor was dirty, even small pc of glass got stuck on my foot. would love to see sleepers and bathrobe.

This was an outstanding hotel, very friendly, helpful staff and exceptionally clean. Nice and quiet, It had a secure car park (fair charge) and the breakfast was lovely.My room had a view of the lake and was spotless. I would definitely stay again

Location, cleanliness.

Lack of staff, no room service, no complimentary mineral water which is quite a surprise. Amenities have to be requested from the hotel.

We had to go out early after our first night stay and requested that our room be made up. When we returned 3 hours later it had not been attended to. We mentioned this to the cleaning staff and went out again for 1 hour to get lunch. Once again the room had not been attended to. We then needed to occupy the room to prepare for an afternoon wedding and as a result the room was never attended to.

Convenient location and great facilities. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Would stay again.

We liked the extra large, comfy bed and very modern room and bathroom. We were lucky enough to have a room with a water view too. The proximity to the club and dining was also excellent.

There wasn't really anything to complain about.
