Tabist Hotel Florida Ikebukuro

The front desk lady was extremely helpful and nice! She helped me carried my big heavy luggages and we communicated just fine even without knowing each other languages well. This is a budget hotel, with full facilities including private washroom, toilet and bed. It’s almost impossible to find something like that at this price. The facilities are old but clean!

It is a bit small and cramped, but with the price facilities included, I’m not complaining.

We didn't have room serviced the entire stay was a bit hard to indicate if or when we would have it cleaned.

Price wes good ( avg 55-60 $$ per night ) .big old school japanesse washroom ( rare in hotels these days ) small fridge .

Toilet room was SO small for me ( 6 foot 1 inch ) knee touch wall while sitting. Wifi didn’t work for my whole stay.

No pretentiousness. Cosy rooms (the bed nearly took up the entire room) but all the basic amenities and friendly staff

Place was uncontactable (phone, text, email, their website) in the evening when my flight was delayed leaving us arriving 15 minutes late for check in. So we wandered the streets until we found a hotel for the night.

The room was clean and there were many items provided. Shampoo for body and hair, plus Conditioner. There were also items like toothbrushes, razor, sponges etc. My room had also an refrigerator and water boiler for tea and soup. The air conditioner was also very helpful.

You could see that everything is a little bit older, there are some tiny things needing a repair. Eg. the water from the toilet was running the whole time. All in all I enjoyed the stay. Though the staff was a bit unfriendly and made me feel like stupid foreigner although I tried my best with japanese.

Good location for transportation and food.Easy 10 mins walk to many train networks.

Room was small but then you get what you paid for, still it's got all the facilities needed for a good stay.

It's very old

For the money the room was huge, roomy and comfortable. I really liked the view from the upper floor's balcony. Also the convenience of the elevator. The bathroom was huge, shower head was so nice, everything was clean and worked well. The staff was also very sweet and chatty.

Very bad beds, it gave me a painful back. Also, it is a very old and unclean looking hotel. It is cleaned reasonably well, but because it is so old, it still looks dirty, with stains and very old carpet and walls.There is little room for the luggage, there is no cupboard or hanging place for clothes.

Good location for exploring Tokyo, but chaotic during weekend nights.

Technically, this is a love hotel turned into hostel. Quite old facilities and smelly. Extremely small room (couldn't even open our luggage on a floor) and quite a low ceiling (bumping with hands on it while removing t-shit). Window "look" was covered with a plastic add cover.

Location was good and the staff fixed our hot water issue quickly. There was an earthquake and the building did not fall down.

Very close to the ikebukuro station. Staff is very friendly. The bath is quite large compare to the room.

Staff were very nice! Even when some things weren't working, they did their best to assist and help with receiving items. Location is decent if you like nightlife and just roaming about.

Facilities are really quite old and could use some upgrading. My main complaint would be the heater, which, I'm good with a cold shower, but not everyday in 2 degree celsius weather. The staff did their best to assist me on this, but even then, the workarounds were a bit weird, but they worked in the end.

Location was good. Staff was nice too.

I booked non-smoking room. But it was the smoking room.
