Eisei Stay

Would have been nice if we were alerted to the fact that they didn't provide luggage storage services before we booked the room! It might have changed our decision to book. Other than that, its proximity to Ikebukuro station and a large majority of the shopping areas was very convenient!

Clean, spacious, great bathroom/shower room & has a washer.Shower room also doubles as a dryer.Fast & efficient service, you can ping them or put magnets up on your door for room service, which will provide you will everything requested and clean 6 minute walk to ikebukuro Station

The pillows were pretty hard, 2 pillows made it manageable, however if you're staying here, we would recommend getting a 2nd pillow.This area is near love hotels, however don't put too much thought into it.

The place is so nice and clean. I love that there is family mart next to the building. The location is really good, but it would be better if it's a little closer to the JR or subway station.

For families looking into the area, it is close to some love hotels. That’s the only con.

Near the Ikebukuro train station. Room size was nice, not spacious, but there was room for luggage. Very basic kitchen, but we didn't use it much.

It's definitely a red light district, but we never felt unsafe. The AC unit was a bit noisy.

Great value

My only gripe is that someone was smoking or burning incense or something. Either the previous guests or the neighbors or somebody. But it lingered around for our whole stay and we kept the doors open because of it. It was not really a big deal though, more of an annoyance. Overall we loved the place and we’d stay here again.

Excellent, spacious,, clean, close location to subways.One less good thing is too many love hotels around it.But secure and safe.

Clean, comfortable and the clothes washer and drying room was really handy.

The property is located at the end of a street lined with love hotels if you approach from the south. If you have young family I recommend you take a parallel street and then approach the property from the north and west to avoid the love hotels.

Room is spacious. Have simply kitchen can cook for dinner.

No chopsticks for us to have dinner. Location is not close to station and some love hotel on the way to the hotel.

The facilities and its near to family mart which is very convenient. the neighbourhood is calm.

The location is a bit far from the station (7min walk), and surrounded by love hotels. It’s safe though.

It was a good location only 5 minutes walk from Ikebukuro station! But most importantly, the value for money is the best given the large space of the apartment ♥️ the property also let us have a late check out ! Of course with reasonable charges

Great location, accommodate a whole fam for a good price. Quiet area. The motels are not an issue at all (we had young kids).

A slightly larger table with more stools for bigger groups would be better. We are a family of 4, there was a small 2 seater table/chair.

Clean and spacious (by Tokyo standards). Close to the train station and vibrant restaurant district. Comfortable beds, and full list of amenities including washer, microwave, kettle and heating/ cooling. Wall mounted flat screen tv. Clean full accommodated bathroom and shower. Family mart right outside was very convenient.

This is a self service hotel, so not having any staff around was at times a little challenging, but overall not a problem.

It wasn't clean enough as we found some nail clippings on the floor where we hung our house clothes. Plus, there's a layer of dust under the beds.

I liked that it was like a little condo. It had a washing machine and a little kitchen. It was like staying in an airbnb. It’s very close to the convenience stores and the station. There’s also a Don Quixote nearby! Everything was a short walk.

The place was well kept and I actually saw the housekeeping. You can request a quick clean of the trash and such or a deeper clean every 2 days as needed. Amenities were plentiful and replaced. The place was relatively quiet and across the street from a family mart (convenience store). There are many love hotels in the area but they can be easily ignored or observed from afar if you wish to. It's close to a few major malls like Parco, Seibu, and a little further to Sunshine City. "Close by" for me is a 10min walk over.

There was nowhere convenient to place towels and clothing outside of the wet area/shower so we had to bring in a stool to place our clothes on. We had 3 in our party and didnt get enough hair brushes, while we had too many tooth brushes.
