Figuring out the parking situation was a little confusing. I recommend adding a map to your website that shows where to park, and when the nearest onsen is.23

The washing machine and the dryer are a real bonus.

I'm quite seasoned on business hotels. I'm always on the road and use them regularly. But this one is clearly a cash machine only.Everything is planned and thought to minimize human involvement and in doing so, salary.As a result, the check-in process is horrendous : you get one code you need to put into a dysfunctional tablet. After ten minutes of struggling, the tablet gives you... another code to put into a key box and then you get your keys...The whole building needs proper maintenance and the rooms are old and used. The chair was broken, the wallpaper stained and the faucet leaked.Finally, the window is a joke on itself: no isolation and the curtains are transparent.In summary, this hotel looks attractive on the pics but it's a deception.

Super close to a really amazing onsen. Easy check-in. Good value for price. Shuttles buses to and from station.

WiFi /internet did not work in room. I don’t think they have a proper mesh or enterprise network set up. Internet in lobby would work but was spotty and would cut out often. I had to do a little online work each day so made that difficult.

The lobby area is nice and has sofas / seating for relaxing and waiting. The staff were good at dropping and picking up from the slopes when needed.

The property is far from any convenience stores or restaurants so you will need stock up on things you need before. The breakfast is pretty basic.

Prior to completing the booking the booking stated that breakfast was optional and would if we elected to be at JPY1,500 per person. Upon checking in at the hotel we were advised it would be JPY2,000.

The location is great so close to Ishiuchi 石口 ski resort entrance Like 10 mins walk Close to a spa and they have their own spa too.

The bed actually a little dirty with stain and hair….but understandable

The accommodation is very close to Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort - it's a good place to stay if you plan to go skiing.There's a convenient shuttle bus service from the JR station back to the hotel in the evening.The staff can speak Chinese

It might be inconvenient to go to Echigo-Yuzawa Station for dinner after skiing.I would need to carry my ski equipment on the resort's shuttle bus to Echigo-Yuzawa, and after dinner, take the hotel's shuttle bus back to the hotel.However, if you're not carrying ski equipment, there's a convenient shuttle bus service from the JR station back to the hotel in the evening

Everything was great. The location, the service, the room, the view. I am very happy and would 100% stay there again.

The only thing was the breakfast was too expensive for the little variety of options (¥2000 and no juice, no tea, no deserts, no fruits). It had a good taste but wasn't worth it.

Not recommended

This place is far from the snow resort,train station,restaurant and shops. The shuttle service is very limited and no way you can communicate with the staff. Taxi is very limited. You feel like trap in this area specially it’s snowing everyday. No way you can go anywhere from this area during winter.

We picked the Japanese-style room and it was beautiful! We loved the room and its helpful features, like lots of sliding door barriers to keep the room warm. The place was also close to a quiet and nice ski resort, the shuttles were very accessible and helpful. The staff were so friendly.

I think we found everything very nice, nothing we disliked.

Great breakfast, next door is a open air bath which I great for relaxing after snowboarding.

Front hotel is stairs need carry luggage to first floor then will have lift. Every floor got microwave and water filter. Next building hot bath is very good, second floor got provide voucher to get the cheap price.

Comfy beds and warm bedding. Bathroom was small, but very clean.

Buffet dinner was incredibly expensive, the pictures that are shown are not what is on offer. Building is very old and run down. Shuttle bus is good, however hotel is quite far away.

- Great location: right near Ishiuchi Maruyama ski resort.- We traveled by car, so we couldn't tell how the shuttle bus service was.- There's no hotel staff available onsite, but things worked out.- The main entrance is locked and requires a PIN throughout the night; it is otherwise open throughout the day. You have to open the room with a physical key.- The facilities seem nostalgic and old, but they are well maintained.- The room is so spacious that we could leave our large suitcases open all the time.

It's badly soudproofed. At 3F, guests could access the nearby Onsen facilities. So be aware that if your room is located at 3F, you might hear groups of other guests speaking and laughing loudly in the corridor throughout the evening.There's a room door at 3F, which closes (smash) every time. We suffered in our first night since the guests in this room kept getting in and out the whole night without thinking that each 'bang' shakes the whole floor. But fortunately, this didn't happen the rest of the nights.It's difficult to hang up wet towels and ski clothes. It would be better to have more hangers.
