Breakfast buffet was excellent and varied. Helped me prepare for a long day of travel. There was both "western," Chinese, and Japanese options. Opened promptly and service was great.

It's hard to find fault here. Maybe more cereal options? But really - this was an excellent experience. Wish I had time to try the onsen, which opened early but I had to jet.

Although the area around is pretty isolated, this hotel had everything you needed to stay comfortable without leaving and at a very affordable price.

Onsen is nice and clean big rooms. The price is amazing for what you get. Which would be a bigger room then US rooms.

They have the plastic bead pillows. Sometimes you also get a kind of normal pillow as well but for one stay I only had the bead pillows which for most foreigners is unheard of. (Not to uncomfortable but weird and stiff)

Location was perfect for catching the Shinkansen, and for visiting Hakodate. Very quiet room. Connected to the train station.

The bathroom was a bit small, but, that's about it.

Good value and it’s in a quiet area. I love how attentive they are. We left our luggages before check in and when we got back they had it in our room for us! I know it’s a small gesture but one I don’t see often so I appreciated it.

The staff are exceptional. They accommodated our request to change rooms after we noticed a smell. Keep in mind that the hotel is dog friendly and so manage your expectations on the condition of rooms. Overall still clean, but I think they may need to replace furniture and beddings (not just clean them) more often given the pet friendly policy. The location is very convenient for parking and access to the shinkansen.

If you have a Tattoo your are not allowed to use the Onsen Facility. I am very upset about that because the hotel is advertising this onsen facility but not mentioning this rule at the booking platform. I was very surprised when i saw the “Tattoos not allowed “sign in front of the Onsen Facility. Anyway the hotel is located at the Shinkansen train station. There are so many foreign guests having a tattoo. I don’t understand why this new hotel which welcomes many foreign guests every day still have this strict rule.

Perfect location to break up a journey north. Easy access to the bus station to explore the 5 points fort ? And hotel just outside of the train station. The breakfast buffet was amazing! Japanese breakfasts tend to be amazing, but this one was above and beyond! Highly recommend!!! They're is also a nice series of shops at the ground level if you need something quickly and conveniently without having to leave the building.

Nothing can beat being beside the Shin-Hakodate station. Made my seat reservations in this station for my other trips. Also it’s quiet, never heard a rail/train/whistle sound. Standard double room was big enough. Large reception area, convenience store on the ground floor and vending machine on the reception area

Could be cleaner. Stains on the pillow sheets and dimmed rooms.

Despite my short stay and limited Japanese speaking skills, the front desk was very thorough about giving me information about the hotel and its amenities. I was pleased with the room at the price I paid and there were instructions on everything.

I wish my stay wasn't so short because I wanted to make use of the public bath in the hotel.

Such a wonderful hotel. Wish we could have stayed longer than one night. The onsen was so perfect for a traditional soak between train travels. The hotel is conveniently located right off JR line. My husband loved the breakfast, I was in the onsen.

This is a quick transit hub for people going to and from Sapporo and Tokyo. It’s a very small and limited area - this is not the properties fault at all though

Arrived late, as our Shinkansen train was delayed. The walk from the Shin Hakodate Hokuto station next door was super easy! The doors were locked, but someone answered the phone & let us in. The room was clean & simple. There was a nice onsen on the property & breakfast was good.

A little difficult understanding how to enter after hours, but thankfully the staff was helpful & responsive.

Great location for Shinkansen. We used it for our stopover to catch the Shinkansen very early the next day.

Very firm mattresses. Would love the option for a pillow top.

Super close to the station, good food and traditional buffet.
