Bahari Parade Hotel Managed By The Ascott Limited

The bathroom has a strong sewer smell.

The property is in a prime location, situated on a busy street and near many bars. If you are a sensitive sleeper, this is not a recommended place to stay. The area is never asleep. Although this does not constitute the property's responsibility to mitigate street noises, I suggest the hotel could at least provide earplugs. I have expressed my concern to the hotel management about the street noise and suggested moving us to their different property, and they responded very well. The 2nd room in the middle of the unit had better noise reduction control.

The location and the unit itself was exceptional with very comfy beds and amenities.

Getting a car park was a nuisance and noise level was a little unbearable as the bedroom was facing the main street.

It's right in the city center, so it's easy to get around.

Could make the soundproofing better. At night still tolerable.

Location was good, walking distance from many sights and food. Place is big and cleanliness was decent, though some parts are not well maintained.

1. There was a loud and horrible vibrating sound from the water pumps in the ceiling, whenever it was activated. It was extremely loud and disturbing, and it goes off constantly throughout the night (11pm to 5am). This made it impossible to have a good sleep as you will be waken by the loud vibrations in the ceiling. This also includes any instance when you turn on the tap or shower. Staff tried to fix it after the first day but it was only partially resolved and it went off again the following night... If you are a light sleeper do not book this place2. The refrigerator was not working3. Toilet sewage and plumbing had a horrible smell (this seems to be a constant in other recent reviews)4. Ants were crawling around the kitchenGenerally, from the above experience, the maintenance and management of the place is bad. Will not stay here or in any of the shophouse hotels under Ascott/PHC, until they address their maintenance issues.

Stylish apartment about ten minutes walk from the tourist centre of Georgetown. Plenty of restaurants just outside the front door. Great communication with host.

A microwave and washing machine would have been great

There was an issue at Bahari, so Seyviar at the front desk quickly moved us to their other hotel Ropewalk Piazza, which was a very pleasant stay.

The rooms design are very comfortable and good services

Sometimes the water flow a bit slow but manage to fix by the staff ontime, so excellect customer service

Proximity to restaurants

Didnt get a restful night coz the front room was noisy -can hear the street cars during nighttime n also the band across the street - up to the wee hours

First time stay this PHC group. Last time other place. This very good is below got few shop can eat can chill. Walk further more more shop and food also. Quiet and not very disturb by neibourhood beside??

Aircond for both room not cold and leaking. End up we just close the aircond. Living room aircond cold than master room and 2nd room. Both room door open to let the wind blow in to the room.

There was quite a lot of noise from the road.

Good value, good location, food and convenience store are all in walking distance. There are thai food, vietnamese food, nyonya food below the hotel. We tried the nyonya food ( bibik kitchen) and very satisfied. Try to arrive early or maybe made a reserve before cause it is one of the popular nyonya food with michelin star.A bit noisy at night because its at the road side. There is no lobby, when arrived you should call the number written in front of the hotel. Somebody will come to settle the check in process.

Love the location. Walking distance to a lot of nice restaurants and street art. Love the apartment upstairs. Front room can be noisy as the window is in front of the main road. Modern design and clean apartment.

The cleaning was very poor and the property has no soundproof windows and doors, and all the sounds from the busy street are very audible in the bedrooms (specially the one facing the street) making it very hard to rest and sleep quietly.

Good location, very comfortable and cozy. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The property is more expensive compared to others, but you get what you pay for.

Nothing really was a con. Just note that the property doesn’t have a reception, and it depends on your own communication with the staff through WhatsApp to get what you need.

The location is excellent!! Below the hotel you can find many delicious restaurants by walk distance. The bedrooms are clean as well. Very satisfied.

the only downside is there is only one bathroom, so if you are a big family its quite a hustle.

Feeling good, almost like own home,spacious, good water pressure, kitchenette, comfortable pillow and bed. Easy Check in and out.

Public parking. Difficult to find parking available, have patiently waiting or driving around and coming back.

Everything was great. Location is fantastic. Walking distance to Chowrasta market and lots of eating places nearby. Super convenient

More mirrors in the unit would be good. We are ladies travelling together and having to share only one mirror in the bathroom is quite a hassle

Unit is clean, well lit & spacious. Great place for family with kids. Smooth & easy check in process. Near to tourist area.

Parking is limited during day. Not suitable for elderly since need to climb up 1 floor & the staircase quite steep.
