Very helpful staff. It's a self check in but quick replies on WhatsApp. They do have two locations with similar names, so make sure you're at the right hotel. Air con was good, and common areas were kept tidy.
The room was a little small but not a huge issue for the price and location. It can get quite noisy with the floorboards and you can feel it when people walk past the room.

Guests were noisy at common area after 10pm, blanket was think disgusting ... shower head in Shared bathroom too strong n the stand can't hold it, difficult to bath. Lobby or reception area was dark n creepy when I first stepped in... No staff around n we communicate through WhatsApp n instructions are given through WhatsApp as well.

This hotel is self check-in, where you get provided with the codes and an online form to fill in. So you will need a Malaysian SIM card or access the internet, but this was all very easy to do but it would have been nice to actually have some human contact on reception to answer any questions you might have about the area or to instantly solve a problem you may have with the room. That being said the contact I had, the requests were always answered but sometimes maybe 12 to 24 later. But I would definitely stay here again...it was like having my own house at times.
