Horizon Apartments Gozo

The view

Spacious rooms. Real sea-view. Big TV with Netflix. Quiet surroundings. Opening windows. Some old fashion furniture. Big balcony. Good restaurant nearby (non-Horizon`s). Well equipped kitchenette.

Check-in is hard. No reception. No signs where to go and what to do. Promised e-mail instructions not received. The only way is to call the phone. Closest mini-market is in 15min walking distance.

The apartments are at outskirts which for me is a bonus - less noise.Jason and his wife are managing the property and they are doing excellent job. Specifically - excellent cleanness inside the apartment. Kitchen has adequate facilities and even two capsules of coffee is provided (for the rest you have to buy at supermarket). The best part - view from the main room and one bedroom - sea shore and sound of waves even with closed doors/windows.

This is weird but first time in my life I've encountered a property where you have to put money to operate air conditioner. So cooling for your stay would be a different line item per day. We would not need in the beginning of November, but someone who probably comes at mid-summer might expect 5-20 euros _per_day_ additional expenses per cooling (it depends how many unites you operate and what are temp settings).Another thing is that apartments do not have great sound isolation, so you will hear someone talking downstairs at patio even with closed doors/windows.

Apartments are very nice. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Service and staff superb!!! Great location. It was our second time staying there and we will be back.

Excellent location with balcony and amazing sea view. Proper coffee machine was a real bonus!

We really had everything we wanted.

The location for me was perfect. Amazing landscapes, quiet and tranquil, with lovely views, especially in the early morning. Flat was well equipped, clean, and had everything. Booked this to do some hiking and photography.

Wifi was terrible, cuts in and out. There are several different connections you can use, all had the same issue. Suggest checking before booking if wifi is important for your trip, for me it didn't really matter.

Excellent location directly at the sea above a good restaurant. Quiet place not far from the city.

Wi-Fi a bit erratic

Amazing quiet location right by the water's edge. Spotlessly clean. Well equipped apartment.

So close to the sea, amazing! Lovely big balcony with lovely views. Close proximity to bus stop. Clean and spacious apartment with everything we needed and more! Instructions left in apartment - clear. Owner gave me their telephone number incase we needed anything. Lovely quiet location. Plenty of short walks nearby. Lots of ice furniture, made it like home and very convenient. Lovely lounge area with a TV.

Not being left a broom to sweep floor. Could have done with another toilet roll. Ensuite shower didn't work very well. No door between bedroom and ensuite. Smelt slightly mouldy in ensuite bedroom. Toilet flush in ensuite difficult to operate. Door to balcony did not shut properly. Had to leave chair in front of it to stop it banging open.

Spacious apartment, well stocked with kitchen equipment. Host easy to contact and apartment complex easy to find, with parking available close by.

Slight smell from drains inside the apartment.

Absolutely amazing sea view (and sunrise) from the balcony, also from the kitchen table! The apartment is very spacious, very well equipped.Perfect location right by the sea, you can listen to the sounds of the sea instead of the TV.Nice walks around the area.

The weather was windy and rainy (the end of March), so it is a good reason to come back in the summer.

We really enjoyed the view and the location.

Extra payment for AC. It was very cold even with the AC/heater because in the kitchen its an open space and the AC units are only in bedrooms.

Perfect sea view two bedroom apartment . Even for long stays

A lovely apartment with an amazing view and balcony right above the sea. Comfortably furnished, well equipped kitchen. The apartment was extremely clean, which is unfortunately not something that is a given in other apartments around Malta. The host very responsive. The AC heating works on 1 and 2eur coins, bring them along, as I did not notice this in the apartment description when making the booking. As we visited in January, the downstairs restaurant was closed making the entire experience very peaceful. Fabulous location for the start of the NW Gozo hike.

The overall standard of everything was very high. The breakfasts were amazing. The swimming pool is good but small. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location was good for the harbour and many eating and drinking places. The location is excellent for catching buses to just about anywhere in Malta.

The pool is pretty small. The range of tv channels is limited for English speakers. We could have done with more coffee capsules. There were no drawers to put clothes. There were shelves, but we found we mainly lived out of our suitcases for the week.

The location was great with the beautiful bay straight outside our door. We enjoyed swimming every day - much better than a pool. Lovely views too. A nice stroll into Marsalforn for more restaurants. The staff were very helpful. The restaurant downstairs served a good selection of local and mediteranian food.

The single bedroom was very small and hot. The air con was noisy.

We loved to stay here. The view from the balcony is breathtaking! The apartment was big and comfortable and had everything we need, the check-in was easy. Swimming possibilities and good restaurants are all just a few meters away. Highly recommend for a stay on Gozo!
