The location is perfect, restaurant was very nice with variety food options. Night show was nice.Pools are very nice with view.

There was a problem in the Air conditioner which wasn’t handled in the right way.

Waitstaff are inattentive and only friendly to some. One whole section of the hotel had major electrical problems in the evening with no water or electricity. It kept going off and on for more than 30 minutes until the sockets in my room all popped. I was worried my converter was blown however the staff checked on a device and it was ok (after they asked me to check on my phone- and potentially ruin that too? No thank you). I asked to be moved to a room with electricity and water which they did.

The location is ideal as it’s closer to most activities.. customer care was brilliant though there is room for achieving better,

What I didn’t like is the way they made us shower at a bathroom on the corridor of the tour desk service despite requesting for a late check out due to our flight delay and even after requesting for a lower upgraded room that is available to prepare for our departure as we were out the whole time. We even realized that our room despite being told there was a guest it had not even been cleaned by the time we were back at 130pm

The infinity pools looking over the oceans, staff are very friendly and cheerful and got very caring when they figured out that I am alone and ensured checking on me all the time and speak with me more :)I was staying at the sea-view room, it was right in-front of the pool and ocean and i even headed out through the balcony as its a shortcut. Rooms are spacious and very clean and got cleaned daily with flowers decoration on the bed every time they clean up the room. Entertainment during the dinner was nice but could be more lively and last for longer. Variety of food is good.Breakfast buffet is very good with several options suitable for everyone.

The day I checked in, the room was sprayed heavily with pesticides to an extent that i couldn’t breathe easily even when i opened the balcony the smell remained strong and i got sick for 2 days.Food is good but not very delicious specially the meat tasted weird. Pool menu prices are slightly expensive but as long as you can afford the hotel ticket value, it would be ok for you. Also, the Maasai tribe at the beach were annoying and keep chasing female tourists

oceanfront hotel, here you can experience the silence in a mindful way. not so close to the crowded areas. you can have long or short walks around early in the morning till like noon and if you’re lucky you can see some beautiful creatures like seashells and seastars. after that time due to high tide it’s not possible-till night. view is amazing, nature is stunning, the sound of the ocean relaxing and extremely helps you to feel relaxed and happy. hotel area is secure, it’s also secure to walk alone to the village or nungwi beach by the road-anytime.breakfast was ok-after 9.00am it’s possible to miss some options :) terrace menu prices affordable. staff is very friendly and nice and also they’re ready to assist you to make you feel a good vibe. not good with the names and forgot his name but poolguy helped me very politely with a medical urgency. i really appreciate his kindness. some masai people around but they’re also kind and definitely need to be supported. they’re not pushing you a lot like in any other main crowded locations in the island. you can watch the stars when sky view is clear. some relaxing points which need to be improved. sunbeds were comfortable and the beds as well.

make it clear; you have no chance to swim and enjoy the ocean, you can only give a try :) i’m a bit disappointed since i chose this hotel for the beach mainly. there are 2 swimming infinity pools, but really small. rooms were ok but not alike in the pictures. a standard menu they have with limited options. beverage menu was ok. you need to go to bed not later than 11pm since there is nothing around-if you are looking to be relaxed it’s a good place to stay, if you’re looking for something else you should better to stay in places close to the main beaches.

Friendly staff, lots of activities, great location, great private beach, and nice pools.

The serenity and availability of a clean pool

Beautiful property, exactly as described! I was celebrating my birthday and the team had a cake ready and even sang for me.

The infinity pool, ocean ? view room 1, the warm welcome ? the birthday song ? & cake, the professional waiter Joseph who served us well with a huge smile on his face. They kept our luggage so well ? & let us use the facilities even checking out that was a plus

All the staff gave a great service. Two separate swimming pools with plenty of sun loungers. Pleasant al fresco dining on alternate nights by the pool bar area with good entertainment. Good air conditioning.

We had a beach front room which was nice but it was very basic. The bathroom needed some tender loving care. It was a pity that the beach was very difficult to walk along due to the rocks and many sea urchins. Swimming in the sea was very difficult.

Superb Breakfast. Dinner was OK - Beach excellent, more like a private beach.

The hotel staff were very nice. The hotel had 2 pools and both were amazing and looked over the ocean. Private access to the quite part of Nungwi beach and it was wonderful and peaceful and we had it all to ourselves. Huge comfortable rooms and a large bathroom.

The quality and of the room service food was average. I wish they would enhance the flavors and change the menu maybe. The room's AC was not cold, should be upgraded to a higher capacity.

The staff were so sweet! Shout out to miss Aika who was an amazing waitress and was very attentive and kind. The room & bathroom was spacious and very clean. The spa is also lovely, and best to do after a day of touring or relaxing by the pool. The beach area is quiet and very close to the hotel , that you can leave your things by the pool or in your room and go for a quick swim or exploration when the tide is low. They also had themed dinners & performances that were a perfect treat for ending the day. I felt very safe, comfortable and tranquil . It was truly a dream destination.

The WiFi was not the best and sometimes the power goes out but comes on back quickly. This is not the hotels fault as this is quite common all over.

We enjoyed our stay at Nungwi. We were on our honeymoon and it was the perfect place especially with the dinners on the terrace near the beach with live music under the stars that were honestly exceptional. I wish we stayed longer. The food was fresh and tasy and affordable too. Our sea view was amazing - really enjoyed it and I look forward to coming back again and again.

The price we were quoted was understandably higher since it was peak season when we booked. However, it was discouraging to see the actual prices at that time. I think a discount, room upgrade, or additional perk would have been a nice gesture, but I understand.

The pool is great with a great view

The hotel is fine, but it is majorly overpriced, food was basic, and at the price paid, we could have got a much better property, it just didn't have the service and quality for a usd 500 per day hotel
