Cocos Beach Resort

The room was okish but smelt when I arrived in it.

• BED SHOOK ALL THE TIME no idea why• Very grumpy host - was not happy as I was 45 mins late & he only went to sleep at 4am which wasn’t my concern• Reception smelt horrible with loads of rubbish in one section• Restaurant had left over food on the tables and was not pleasant at all• The waiter told me to wait whilst he finished his breakfast this was 8.45am• Out the front was shocking- old tables with peeling paint and old chairs all chucked everywhere with a pile of rubbish and 2 old awful sunloungers chucked at the back of themThey should be ashamed- its the only place on the beach that looked so bad from the front• No key for the door had to carry a heavy padlock for it• Big old tin roof blocking the lovely view of the seaIt was £50 per night. Complete rip off.• Couldn’t wait to leave

We spent an amazing 8 days here . The reception & management team juggled bookings to accommodate our requirements. The whole team were friendly and helpfulWe loved the place

We stayed in a lovely garden room if we had booked earlier we would’ve preferred a sea view

Location was excellent, staff were friendly and service was good.

I felt that my beachside cabin was rather oversold as although I had a view of the beach-I had to look over the tin roof of the bar. Only a minor gripe.

The staff are very welcoming, the food was really nice & the location was perfect 10/10

Great location on the beach; quite but early in the season

The location of the resort is amazing if you want to spend a relaxing vacation on the beach.

The staff is more interested towards looking at non Indian national guests and groups of women traveling without a male companion. Almost everyday we had to specifically ask for water to be kept in the room.The cottages are not maintained properly with spoilt wood. This makes it very difficult to use the washroom for any purpose.

It was awesome property, love the location and cleanliness. Food was delicious and affordable.

Parking sign should be there although staff was very helpful.

Behavioural issues of almost every person working in this resort, horrible service, they will treat u as if u r staying there for free, I booked some room got some current room, when asked I was told this is available if u want take it or else u can decide, too much attitude

It’s just a make to shift building with out a proper entrance a shabby sourronding the beach facing is only saviour horrible staff and untrained

The location is fantastic! It felt like I was living on the beach! The sound of the waves lulling me to sleep was just perfect! The sea view cottages have the perfect view to wake up to! Loved how they kept little bowls at the entrance of each cottage to wash off the beach sand.. Overall, if u are looking to spend maximum time at the beach, this place is it!

The room service and restaurant definitely needs an upgrade! We were faced with issues like non-functional fans, a semi functional AC, and at one point of time we even got stuck in our own room because the door lock got stuck! Although they did fix these issues we had to constantly push to get it done on time.The restaurant has a good food choice. However, it takes ages for the staff to take an order and even more time for the order to arrive..so much so that after the first two experiences we had dinner and breakfast at the adjacent restaurant (their food is good and service is very fast!)

Our stay at Cocos Beach Resort was one of the best vacations of all times. The facilities were great and well positioned along the beach. The food was amazing - no matter what meal or what we ordered, everything was outstanding. And, the thing that made everything so amazing was the staff. They went out of their way to make sure we had the most amazing vacation. We will be back for sure!

The room was quite small. But very manageable .

We had a great stay at Coco’s beach resort from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. The rooms are clean and light with large bathroom, comfortable bed, A/C and balcony. Great location on Palolem beach, close to everything and always good food and drinks on offer. The biggest thing for us and what really made the difference is every member of staff. They are kind, funny, helpful and just all round great people. 6 days was not enough time and we will definitely be back. We were so sad to leave, Thank you so much!

The location is nice, the huts are simple and clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The food tastes great and during the day there are sunbeds and umbrellas at the beach and you can order from the restaurant.

Only downside is the noise. The huts are directly adjacent to the restaurant area. We stayed there for 5 nights, three of those nights there was music so loud that you just could not be in the room until 11 pm. On the national holiday there was party up until late at night. All other bars on beach had already closed at midnight and it was impossible to be in the room, the music was terribly loud, windows vibrating, so we had to wait outside. After that, unfortunately, it wasn't quiet. The staff was talking loudly. Which is really unfortunate, because everything else was really fine. But we would definitely not stay here again. Sadly, the party aspect wasn't indicated in the description on booking.com.

Cocos Beach Resort was unfortunately not a clean and peaceful place as we expected. We checked in a room with a dirty sheet in our bed, dust and dirt under the bed, uncleaned toilet seat and dirty carpets in front of toilet and room door. The restaurant was not clean. The food we ordered (only once) was plain/basic/had a long waiting time/came wrong and therefore expensive for its quality.Quite loud music is played in weekends until midnight and unfortunately the same goes on in week days too.We are sorry to write this but the he place needs some serious maintenance and care.

Great sized rooms with verandah right on the beach front. Picture perfect. Friendly and efficient staff made the stay extra special for us. Well worth it. Dinner on the beach was great with fresh seafood every night. Fully air conditioned and a beautiful breeze. Very safe and clean also.

This is probably the happiest little resort on Palolem Beach. The staff we super helpful & super happy. The best start to our holiday. Food was delicious and plenty of choice. Great location, so good for families.

The table clothes could have been cleaned a lot more.
