The location

We enjoyed every day spent at the resort! Time there seems to stand still thanks to the incredible beauty of nature, which a camera cannot capture, and thanks to the enormous (although invisible for the vacationers) work of all the staff. Many thanks to the manager Santosh, who was always available and committed to our comfort; to extremely friendly Preetya and Raul; to Surjeet who, amidst all his activities at the resort, found time to pick and break a coconut for us; and the housekeepers Mandarin and Sukanati, as well as any other staff members we haven't mentioned. Special thanks go to Rohit, a very attentive and pleasant person who took care of our needs from transfers to the hotel and a trip to the wildlife sanctuary to explaining the dishes at dinner and helping us with how to eat them properly! The beach is incredible; we met many travelers who envied our choice and came specifically to Cola Beach :p The hotel grounds are wonderfully designed, beautiful, and offer plenty of space for various activities. The food in the restaurant is delicious and absolutely hygienic. We absolutely fell in love with Soneka Cola and a little doggy Mary <3 !

.... getting there. We came by bike and Google Maps gets you to another resort next door (over the hill). There is a very small track going over the hill but you can only walk that or go by bike. So revision of signage or GPS co ordinates is advisable. Nevertheless - wonderfull and charming place.

The location is surreal .. It's just amazing. Private beach, serene calm and no crowd. Beautiful stay for a peaceful holiday.Very close to Cola kayak centre.

The management can do a much better job at breakfast, the plates, cutlery were dirty. The food options were bad. The restaurant is overpriced. Almost double of what's charged in good restaurants of goa.They do not provide basic essentials like dental kits. The tents need more cleanliness. We stayed here for 3 nights and 4 days, noone cleaned our room even once. Hospitality from the manger and staff is in general missing. The approach road to this place is not in a good condition. Best to use SUVs and 4-wheel drives.The location is isolated and you will take a minimum of 1.5 to 2 hours to reach anywhere. There is no mobile network here.

We loved Soneca Cola! It was on a beautiful beach and it felt almost like our own private one. The views were amazing. The personnel were incredible, helping us with every single detail before, during and after our stay. We have been traveling through India for some time now, and this was definitely the highlight of our trip.

Review without mentioning Shanky and sumana would be incomplete. They are the perfect hosts, taking care of everyone, individually and making the guests comfortable. The location is picture perfect and much much better than nearby hotels, which I also visited. Limited menu but the food is delicious.

It's not a resort, these are tents with all basics including AC.

What a place! All respect to the staff. The restaurant food was amazing. The best place you can have in South goa. Cola. The beach and the star gazing was the best part. The space over all is very secluded and everybody kinda their own work. Shanky and sumana are one of the best hosts i have come across. I would come again with my family.

As I stayed in the newly constructed rooms, there wasn't hot water. That's the only problem I faced. But I enjoyed the cold water showers too!

No cellular network. Wifi is also barely working and didn't work for 16 hrs straight in my stay. Food choices are very limited and the same goes for beverages and alcohol. No room service, no intercom. Sometimes water shortage. Overall good for one or two days.

Great Location. Staff is very helpful. Away from all the crowds that visit Goa daily. The only sound we heard was the rain and crashing waves and an occasional dog barking.

Upkeep of the tents, especially in the Monsoon was quite poor. There was a musty smell - not due to the lack of cleaning but just old furniture and old carpet. Limited food and drink menu. A large part of the menu was not available.

we have stayed at Cola beach in the past and loved the solitude .

the beach is very commercialised now .we usually like the peace and quiet however there was a crowd sat near our tents all night who were very noisy .breakfast was very poor so we didn't eat at soneca beach .

We had an amazing stay. The setting is stunning! Tents were brilliant and the staff are so friendly.

My next door neighbours. Not fault at all of Sonecas.Just my neighbours had no respect for other guests...waking my up at 01;30 by talking SO loud. Again, no fault of the resorts.

The location is amazing - a beautiful, empty beach. The food in the restaurant also very good, which is important as the place is quite secluded. Also, when we decided the check out earlier the staff was very nice and helpful.

Two biggest issues to improve are the overall cleanliness and bathroom standard. In both rooms we booked there were leaky toilets that would create a puddle in the middle of the bathroom. We also found cigarette buds in the toilet and sheets and towels had stains on them.

Perfect location, beautiful and serene beach with not much tourists. Loved the tents with the best sea view just few steps from the beach. Exellent food in restaurant. Definetely would recommend this place and visit again.

Bathroom could be improved and bed size is not the best for tall people.

Tents are not clean, it’s like local wineshop. There is complete difference with the images shown and actual tent you get.

Tents are not good, breakfast not good. Even Tea and coffee are not good.
