Art Resort Goa

The beach is beautiful, the restaurant is pleasant The staff work very hard...The garden is beautiful...

The beach beds and parasols are old, they've been repaired a thousand times, it's awful. And on several occasions, many customers were injured by pieces of metal attached to the sides of their parasols.It's infested with insects...the floor of my room was never washed during my 24-day stay; it was covered in food stains. The pool was really dirty. It's a real shame because it could be a very pleasant place if the management invested in improving the resort.

We loved everything about the resort. Great location, clean and spacious rooms with a large bed, amazing food, helpful staff, facilities at the resort such as showers and changing rooms at the beach. I can keep going on and on about this place. I will stay nowhere else if I visit Goa anytime in the future.

Nothing at all

The resort is located on the southern end of the beach, which is less crowded and more relaxed. We stayed at the inner section of the resort, which was perfect for us since it was a perfect balance between enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant with evening performance, with quiet and super relaxing location of the room. The staff was super nice and professional, all the way from the resort manager to Promila, our amazing housekeeper. We thank all the staff for a perfect stay and hope to have the chance to come back!

Beautiful location and pleasant stayThe beachfront bungalow’s location is absolutely worth it — right by a clean and quiet beach. The staff were kind and helpful, everything was clean and well maintained, and the facilities were great. It was a very pleasant stay overall.The Indian food was delicious and much better than the Western dishes.The resort is divided into two parts: the beachfront area with bungalows and a restaurant, and the “Art Village” section with the pool and another restaurant. It’s not the most convenient setup, as you have to walk a few minutes to reach the pool, but it’s not a big deal.Luckily they re-opened the beach front restaurant on the day we checked-in, which made a big difference.

Unfortunately we did not stay here. Reasonable according to Booking.com airport transportation will be included but even not would have accepted the cost just to reach the property . Was promised according to the Booking.com someone will be holding my name. Unfortunately since no access to internet could not get hold of them . Since the taxi had no idea where the place was , decided to get place closer hotel Ginger which was worth the rate per night

Make sure what you put in the description and what is provide should be accurate. Booking.com needs to very what is provided . This also happen with other hotels and places too.

AMAZING!!! This has been our favourite place we have ever stayed in, it is such a good vibe. We went in the beginning of off season however the hotel and restaurant was always full. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the service is exceptional and it is right on the beach. We stayed in the huts at the back of the property that was about a two minute walk to the beach but we preferred it this way as it felt more private. The rooms are spacious and colourful, we loved the authentic vibe. They offer yoga classes, pottery and art classes !Would highly recommend, it was very family centred and great for any families with children or couples.

No negatives worth mentioning

The location right on the beach is fantastic, although we stayed in a bungalow that was a couple of minutes' walk inland (thus more peaceful). The bungalows were huge - loved the artwork everywhere and the peaceful vibe. Yoga each morning was invigorating, and although we are not really fans of live music the performers were actually great and it was just the right volume.

It was a bit difficult as a foreigner to pay the deposit to the Art Resort due to the Indian finance system (in the end it was okay as they said it was okay to pay on arrival).

What a blissful experience was to arrive at this resort, after a horrible experience in Anjuna. Amazing food, great vibe, nice beach, comfortable rooms and truly awesome staff. I ended up eating at the hotel every single day, every single meal, how great it was! Plus the live music by the beach was something from another world. Strongly recommended!

Really nothing to add here, maybe Wi-Fi could be better and a more modern TV.

After checking out from the hotel , when i paid the bill for the restaurant . The staff showed an expression of not being happy when i did not give him tip. Just to be clear , every other staff showed amazing hospitality except this staff.

Stayed 4 nights (2 adults, 1 child) in April and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Food and drinks were great. And the view of the bay at the restaurant is idyllic. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots to do for kids, pottery classes, art classes, pool. And safe beach with a lifeguard. Our room was huge and beds were comfortable. Cleaned every day with fresh towels, plus beach towels. Our room was across the road near the pool, but still only 2 mins walk to the beach and restaurant. Yoga and massage on offer too, but didn't try these. Took a boat to butterfly beach, honeymoon beach, saw turtle rock, and saw dolphins. If you go by tuktuk to the north end of Palolem beach you can take a boat to punt along the backwaters (best at high tide) to see birds and kingfishers in the mangroves. Went by tuktuk to Patnem beach for dinner. Recommend Zest for delicious veggie food. 15 mins by taxi is Mallikarjun temple which is worth a visit. Highly recommend Art Resort at Palolem.

I liked everything, my room, the food was excellent, customers services very good, kind people and good beach

This resort is a gem! If you want a posh hotel, you will be unaligned with this property's vision. It has a unique style for those who want an authentic connection with art, people, and mental wellbeing. We loved the boat bath. The studio space for our family, which had enough room for us to watch movies when the sun was hot, chill with a snack on our balcony or inside, or read a book, catch up on emails, and do a bit of work or play games. Everyone could have their space.The art classes exceeded my expectations. They were 1000 for me and 800 for my kids, 6 and 8. The guy took us step by step and taught us fun techniques, and we will all remember. It was like being on an art retreat, and rarely people can teach adults and children at the same time.The restaurant has great food and the waiters are very thoughtful and friendly. They reserved us a lovely table each evening and we enjoyed the live music. We also enjoyed other restaurants in the area. There are so many great restaurants, a short walk along the beach or across the road.The room was cleaned daily. They brought fresh towels and drinking water daily. The staff were so lovely and friendly. I loved the morning yoga classes. They're extra, but not expensive and well worth it.The gym is decent. There's a small extra charge. It's really good equipment and well-maintained.

Everything was great. The swimming pool can get busy, but we just kept an eye out for when it was quiet and went when it was quieter. It's easy to do other things, because there's plenty to do.

The friendly staff and personalised service are exceptional! The western(ised) food was much to our liking! The menu has a lot of tasty options to offer delicious choices throughout our stay. The kids enjoyed the ocean and pool so much that we didn't even get to try the yoga, art and pottery classes or the massage. We stayed in the village resort across the street which is still very close to the beach, closer to the pool + pool restaurant and offers outdoor bathtubs to conveniently rinse off the kids. Beachside huts have beach views but you might hear the live music in the evenings till 10pm - village resort seems to be the family friendly option for smaller kids.We hope to be able to come back soon!!

Our stay at the Art Resort was absolutely perfect, and went above what we expected. We stayed for 6 nights in one of the double rooms which was really spacious and was cleaned every day. All of the staff at Art Resort are so friendly and made our stay even more enjoyable, especially Kamal who went above and beyond for us (and Raj who makes amazing cocktails). The food was incredible, we ended up eating at the restaurant for 90% of the trip because it was so good and we wanted to try everything on the menu (the Goan fish curry was the best). In the restaurant there's live music every night which is a really nice touch and great way to spend the evening. I'd recommend Art Resort to anyone wanting to visit Palolem - it's perfect for a relaxing beach holiday in Goa.

The stay here was wonderful. The entire resort is on the beach and has a holiday, relaxing atmosphere. The bungalows are comfortable and cozy (although of course you shouldn't expect a five-star hotel standard). The crew is excellent - always smiling and helpful. In addition, great food, a wonderful beach and hotel sunbeds, for which there was never a queue. It was a really great stay! Thank you!
