Vyaana Resort Gili Air

1. Amazing service. Probably the best during our trip. They are so attentive, friendly, and communicative through whatsapp. They picked us up from the port and were waiting for us. When I asked for bandaids, after coming back to the room they provided even more bandaids. Just so thoughtful. We also had early scuba sessions so we asked if it was possible to make our breakfast early and they accommodated our schedule and brought it to our cottage. We felt so taken care of by the staff at Vyaana Gili Air.2. Very clean. Serviced our room twice a day. We thought we only needed once but they come the second time to put up the mosquito net, which was 100% needed3. Loved the location. Right on the beach, quieter part of the island. Also walking distance to our scuba shop Master Scuba.4. Provide many amenities - their mosquito repellent actually worked way better than what I had and helped a lot!! They also provide bikes which made Gili Air so easy and fun to explore.

Mosquitos in the hut, I don’t know how they get in, maybe through the walls? Hence why the mosquito net was imperative. Weren't really anywhere to sit inside the cottage with AC other than your bed. Hair conditioner(personal preference) I think this is normal for all of gili island to have open air bathroom for island feel but when it’s hot and humid, sometimes would’ve been nice to have bathroom indoor with AC

Beautiful place, room maintained and kept clean. Staffs would clean room twice a day which is good because of it being close to beach. Staffs very friendly and helpful. Pool is nice.

The air condition not strong enough for family suite so the other bed didn’t receive much of the fan or the air con. The food at the villa is not average.

Little maintenance required here and there

The staff were/service was wonderful. The beach front was more open than many other places on the island with large trees for shade which added to its natural appeal, and was where many meals were enjoyed. Perfect place to watch the sunset. Plenty of activities on offer + free bikes to explore the island. Also loved the pool.

Unfortunately the waters edge was more coral than sand but there are many places nearby on the island to swim.The resort ran out of several items on their menu which took a few days to replenish. The horse/cart operators hiked up the prices quoted by the resort.

Loved our stay here and wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The location was perfect, food really tasty and the pool area was a welcome relief. Free bikes were a bonus. Thank you for an incredible stay.

Next door had some cabanas to watch the sunset. It would be lovely if Vyaana had some too. Not many pool beds but the beach is 5 steps away with lots more beds there

Exceptionally caring and hospitable staff, bicycles (even with child seat) at disposal, beautiful and peaceful sunset overlooking beach.

Very nice and quiet. Bungalows placed so it felt private. A nice and well organized garden. Close to the water. Helpful staff and good bikes for lend.

Lovely little resort on the quiet sunset side of Gili Air. Excellent service with kind and caring staff. Breakfast and dinner on the beach, very clean and confortable rooms and bathroom. Nice deisgn of room and bathroom with outdoor shower. Free bicycles available with seat for kid. Great swimming pool with sea view. We felt lucky to have chosen this place, a lettle gem, paradise!.

The location was beautiful, best spot on the island. The room was super comfortable, with a great ocean view and the staff&service was immaculate!

On check out tried to charge for extra coffee and toast without informing Breakfast menu missleading Water bottle placed precariously in dark room causing breakage Poor instruction on check in

It is very calm and nice place, staff was very kind and pleasant. Rooms are clean and comfortable with nice openair bathroom. Location is great, on sunset side of the island with pool almost on the beach.

Lovely, spacious bungalows, cleaned twice a day by super staff. The pool is great as is the breakfast served on the beach.

A very few minor defects with bathroom fittings due to the rigour of tropical conditions, but nothing unexpected.

Vyaana is in an ideal location on the beachfront for the sunset and peaceful days, away from the busier side of the island, however only a ten minute cycle to the beat snorkelling points! We also discovered if you walk along the beach to the right by 5 minutes there is another great reef. The staff were all very friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable, especially for an island stay! We did a walk round the whole island and Vyaana definitely have one of the best pools!Make sure you try the banana pancakes for breakfast!

Only tip would be to shower before 7pm before the hot water runs out!

Beautiful quiet part of the island. Very clean rooms and area. Very kind groundsmen who tookMy luggage down to the port as I don’t agree with the way the horse and cart are used for transporting people and luggage.

I stayed in many places on Gili Air and whilst I loved the location and attention to detail in the room it was very expensive compared with other places. Breakfast was served on the beach which was lovely touch but I didn’t think the breakfast was very good.

Exceptional service from a consistently friendly team always happy to help. The resort had everything you need, and lots of thoughtful extras - including local myths for bedtime stories offered during the turndown service. Everything was very clean and comfortable and the morning and sunset views were lovely.

When we first arrived, we thought that the bathroom and some of the facilities were looking a bit tired / old. We stopped noticing after a few days. It’s also on the quiet side of the island - which was mostly a good thing … fewer crowds, a very relaxed vibe, quiet at night, etc. but there was a decent walk to get to the snorkeling on the other side (much aided by free bikes). There were still plenty of close restaurants. It’s a bit less pretty in the afternoon, because of low tide. Bit of course nothing the hotel can do about this!

an absolutely fantastic place with a fantastic staff. cozy cabins and nice pool right by the beach. very clean and nice quiet. I can definitely recommend the place
