The perfect property if you want a peaceful stay close to the animation of the island.Beautifully maintained and decorated, the resort provides all the services you can expect.The Italian restaurant is delicious and the staff very helpful to meet any inquiry you may have..We loved our stay here during 4 nights and would return without a doubt.Check out Mama Pizza restaurant for breathtaking sunsets at 5 minutes walking distance and delicious pizzas.

Schedule of the breakfast starts at 8:00am, many activities like snorkeling can start early, as well as the Ferry to reach Padang Bae, so we would recommend the hotel to have earlier start for breakfast.

Great staff, nice common space with a beautiful pool area and cute attached restaurant. Breakfast is good though I wish there were an Asian meal option.

Location is close to sunset beach, what I didn't realize is that it's full of bars hosting parties all the time. There are earplugs but half the nights we were there we could hear the bass blasting which made it difficult to sleep. The room could use a desk or coffee table too, had to put stuff on chairs and the floor since there were not enough surfaces.

This villa is located very close (seconds walk) to the best beachbar with sunbeds and shisha on the Gili Air. Its the rare place on Gili islands where you can swim comfortably without special shoes!!The beach looks amazing during the high tide.Usually high tide is from 8am to 1pm, after that you can go relax in the pool which is also nice.Also, Dolcemare Resort is the only place where we have found decaf coffee on Bali.The breakfast was also quite good.If I come back to Jili Air I would not consider other options where to stay due to its convenient location.

The pool was lovely and the location was ideal- close to the port but in a quiet side road. The staff were incredibly helpful and the breakfasts excellent.

We had a nicely appointed room that was serviced every day, it also had a great outdoor area with a large shaded daybed - ideally for lounging, a fridge and a clothes dryer. The pool and grounds were lovely and everywhere was kept spotlessly clean. There were lots of thoughtful touches in the bathroom (an aftersun face mask and a hair treatment along with all the usual bits and pieces. The breakfast was delicious with a great choice, all freshly prepared. We loved the location, only a minute from the beach but up a side road to keep things quiet and private.

We loved this small resort. The room was beautiful and confortable, and had direct access to the stunning garden and pool. The staff, in particular Surya, was also very helpful.

These villas have everything that you need. This place is very quite and We loved the little patio area. I suggest to rent a bike from next door and explore the island with it.

Dolcemare is a family run facility. We enjoyed that the resort was located in a quiet part of the island but still centrally located. There is a mosque on the island as it is predominantly Muslim community and you can hear the call to prayer but it is something you must bear in mind when traveling and respect other religions. Since I am a light sleeper I did hear it in the morning, however it didn’t bother me. My partner never even stirred. Plus the resort provides guests with earplugs should they wish to use them.They also have a restaurant on the premises and we enjoyed the free breakfast. It is not a buffet breakfast but you have plenty of options to choose from and everything is freshly made. Since I am sensitive to gluten I especially enjoyed that they provide a gluten-free option which is not widely available in Indonesia. We also had dinner at the restaurant and the portions were delicious and generous.All in all, the staff was friendly and the island was a welcome change to the hustle and bustle of Bali. Gili Air and Dolcemare make you feel welcome and let you enjoy the chill vibes of what we imagined Bali might’ve been a couple of decades ago. 10/10 can’t wait to return!

The pool is fabulous! The staff Surya,Adji,and the entire restaurant staff always went beyond. It’s not beachfront, but the well kept gardens, and the very beautiful pool with fountain, make you forget about the beach. It’s ally a few steps to the sunset, and to many great restaurants. Docemare Restaurant is a treat! To have such an upscale eatery on this tiny island is amazing. Everything is delicious!

Great value for money. 1 minute walk from the sea and the sunset side of the island where the best restaurants are located.The staff of the hotel is exceptional,helpful, and kind. Breakfast is superb. The room is cleaned daily. The pool area is really lovely with sunbeds, wonderful trees and plants. Thanks, Poalo and Tess ,we had an amazing time with you.

Well located, you can get there on foot (5-10 minutes from the harbour). They give you all the facilities to go scuba diving places, bicycles, towels, boat trip, and restaurants.Perfect place to relax. Outstanding staff support. Right nex to the beach. Delicious breakfast and italian food to enjoy by the evening. A place to repeat!!

An oasis of calm, but only 2 minutes away from sunset beaches with lovely bars and restaurants. The staff are amazing ( Aji - what a superstar) This resort hotel is beautifully decorated, clean with beautiful pool and a high end breakfast. Excellent!

Dolcemare is the perfect little Oasis away from the main Gili Air Beach strip. A lovely small complex that is maintained perfectly with staff who are extremely attentive. The rooms are well equipped, clean and have a beautiful verandah, complete with daybed, overlooking the pool. The breakfast were fresh and delicious with the best coffee on the island... Thanks Aji! Very sad we didn't get to try the restaurant in the evening as we were on the island for a wedding and there were other plans made. We did get to have lunch at Mama Pizza though which was spectacular! We will definitely stay again next time we are in Gili Air!

We loved the restaurant - both the breakfast we had every morning and the italian food at dinner was amazing. The staff were extremely kind and attentive and helpful.

The rooms are unfortunately not quite up to date. No moscuito net over the bed and the towels smelled a bit after the first time use.

Beautiful little resort in good location. The rooms are of a nice size and the sitting areas on the terraces as well. Garden is very well maintained and clean. Food was great and the service as well!

The drains of the shower and the sink were slightly blocked. Nothing serious though

Hard mattress and noise

The resort was super cute, comfortable and nice. The pool area was very relaxing with plenty of trees and shade. The staff were very friendly and helpful and accommodating. There's an Italian restaurant attached to the resort which serves amazing seafood and pasta. Really enjoyed my stay here, it's got everything you need for an awesomely relaxed time!
