Hotel and Villa B52 Gili Air

I do like that is very close the the center of the island

I didn’t like that everything was very old, broken, and dirty. Also, the staff starts yelling in the hotel courtyard at 6 in the morning, and since the rooms are made of wood, you can hear everything. They woke us up every morning. We also had a problem with the transfer to the island from Bangsal — they ignored us, didn’t answer the phone, and didn’t reply to the messages on Booking.

Location was great and the front desk manager was always very nice and helpful. A/C worked great too.

Not very clean, door felt like you could just pull it off the hinges if you wanted in (not very safe), walls are thin so it can be loud at times.

It was all good in this great island. I strongly recommend(wherever you stay) booking upstair rooms if you don't like roaches etc. Because in this island there's no way to escape from them. Staff was helpful all the time.

Idk if it's because it was off-season(march) but the pool filters was off during our stay, we straight went to the beach all the the but obviously this was a minus. If it was on we would use it every once in a while.

I liked our cute little villa, the style was quite simplistic and a Japanese them. The villa pool was nice.

Great location. Very clean and comfortable room.

The bed was a little on the hard side and the beds were super creaky which meant every movement would wake the others up.

We stayed at the wooden villa and it was lovely. Very clean and nice room with a nice pool view.

We found 2 cockroaches in the bathroom but it was not big deal considering that you are in a tropical island with a lot of insects.

Underwhelming

From the pictures I was prepared for a relaxed comfy hotel. Our bathroom stank,the room was below average for the amount. Three weeks in Indonesia in different islands this was the most disappointing. You can really choose another place

Thin walls.

Small Lodge, extreme friendly staff! Nice cabins in the middle of the village. From here you are within 10 minutes walk at the beaches at the eastcost, 5 minutes to the port. Restaurants, Cafes and bars are everywhere around but not direct neighbours. We liked it very much for our four days stay!

Would be nice if the water in the pool is a bit cooler, so it would be more refreshing.

It was a great stay at the hotel, very clean, it was good furniture for the clothes, air conditioner, refrigerator, tv and swimming pool it was nice. The staff were very kind and smiling. The location was very good because you only need 5 minutes walking to the harbour.

Everything it was ok

Great location, lovely pool, good price, we were able to conveniently organise a snorkelling trip through the hotel

The room had character and was quaint the bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean

The sliding doors felt a little unsafe as if one door was bolted to the floor it could easily push forward.

Staff were super lovely and friendlyGreat location, right off the main street so lots of fab food and coffee spots nearby

Walls were thin - could hear people above us, either side of us, and the mosque

- “Dee-Dee” on the front desk was great and quick to fix issues with the room and arrange laundry service - Good value for money overall- Very convenient location to/from the port. Seen a lot of people mention the noise from the mosque in the reviews but think most accommodation on the island would have the same issue. I didn’t get woken up but my partner did. The noise from the beach clubs would be even worse!- Hot water & Air con!

For the price, can’t have too many complaints. Swimming pool could have been cleaner.

Good location, big rooms, nice big bed, short walk to the beach.

The breakfast was not what I expected, very simple. There was some construction at the time, but that was not their fault.

The staff were lovely , great location. Excellent air conditioning . Fresh water in shower . Fridge in room. Water provided in rooms & refills available. Bed was comfy & location felt secure.

Pool area quite small but we didn’t use it much so no issues ?

Great location tucked away from Main Street so was quiet. Nice cool pool. Netflix available on TV so you could watch a movie at night. Nice staff who their utmost. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Shower pressure strong. Excellent value for money given accomodation on Gili can be expensive and not really up to scratch

Other guests tend to be noisy as usually young and only stay a day or two. No food or restaurant in hotel but that’s ok as many options only steps away

The bathroom ceiling has an opening. Bugs may use it to enter

The position was perfect! 5 minutes walk to the beach and only 15 minutes from the other side of the islandClose to shops and restaurants but not in the middle of them

The room was not very insulated, no way of blocking the sun light and we could hear every little noise (even the guy watering the plants)
