    Pros +

    • The extra pillow. It was there because the room had an extra bed. It has parking.
    • Small room and affordable. Good location in the city. Quiet.
    • Parking and a benzine station just in front of it.

    Cons -

    • My husband bumped his he'd on the extra bed...which is over the double bed. The window had a latch so it couldn't be opened very far.
    • We went with a bunk bed setup, and one of the days they did not make the bed for the bunk bed (top bed). The front desk did not speak a lot of English, but we managed to get the information we needed.
    • Bad matrass, bad shower, very small room

Room is small with no shelves but clean and the bad is comfortable. The breakfast is ok.

No shelves for depositing the clothes.

The quietness of the room; the simplicity of the room; the hot water in the bathroom; the quality of the breakfast

The dirty toilet bowl; no English-speaking television stations

Not much! Room is too small and bathroom would not work for a couple. Too small. There was not elevator so bags have to be carried up the stairs.

No elevator, rooms as small; plastic shower floor was cracked - the window to the room was about 2ft x 2ft and looked at the gas station in front of the hotel !!! YES!! The front of the hotel is the BACK of the gas station, The breakfast that was included consisted of bread and jam and coffee and some cheese and juices. NO PROTEIN - no eggs - so not very useful unless you like to eat carbs only for breakfast. This place is really a HALF star hotel!!

    near the palace of Versailles

    noisy room guests

We did not have the breakfast. We liked the price of the room.

The rooms were very small, but adequate.

    5StevenPosted on: 10-10-2024

Breakfast quite basic but hearty and good quality. Clean hotel in general.

Quite noisy at times but my room was in the center between several adjacent rooms and quite close to the main entrance. For the price I paid it was not particularly value for money but it's close to Versailles so quite cheap compared to local hotel alternatives.

    Free parking.

It was too hot, fan was on a timer so kept turning off all night, very annoying.

Most of the staff were really friendly and went over and above for us. The room and hotel was clean. The breakfast was nice. The Ibis budget approach of having a double bed with a bunk/loft bed over the top really works for us and allowed our child to have a bit of their own space and less likely to disturb while we were still awake in the evening. The location was about 15 mins walk from St Cyr station, so it was perfect for getting into Paris or the Palace of Versailles for sightseeing.

The beds were just a bit hard and could have been a bit softer - particularly with all the walking around Paris we were doing. There weren’t many options for lunch/dinner nearby when we visited in August, but fortunately there was a delicious boulanger and delicatessen 10 min walk away. Breakfast was OK, but not the same variety we had at a previous Ibis budget - maybe because this one was a small hotel?

Basic but well done in shared spaces, rooms were well thought out

The window was tiny and went straight out on to the petrol station so was very noisy all night but room was very hot as well. The shower head didn't was not compatible with the wall so you had to hold it to shower, made a mess and awkward in such a small space.

A place to put your head. Reasonable value for money.

It looked like a penitentiary on the outside. I’m afraid we called it the penitentiary. By the petrol station wasn’t very pretty either but the location was easy to find and near the Chateau so that was good. We asked for rooms together and I received messages to say we would have but we weren’t together. Breakfast was not fresh.

Clean, comfortable. Good value for money for the Olympics season

Breakfast, was horrible. They didn’t even have plates, we had to eat on a napkin

    Terrible

Chose not to stay. Got to room and place was horrendous - booked another hotel and left.

Its good for 1 night. parking is safe and free

Too small, very thin walls, hard mattress

    6KatrinePosted on: 6-2-2024

We booked here because we needed a one night stay on our way north to Belgium. The neighborhood is close to Paris and Versailles and looked quite nice and safe. The hotel is next door to a busy gas station with some shared parking but they also had private parking behind the building behind locked gates. The room was very basic, bed linen were clean, bed quite comfortable but watch your head for the bunk on top. Bathroom only had two towels, no hand towels or rug. Everything is a bit old so I don’t know if the stains on the floor were permanent or dirt. Breakfast buffet was well presented but small. Not much protein. I think one hundred Euros for one night was expensive for what we got.
