Coral Hotel Bangsaphan

Lovely hotel right on a beautiful and very quiet beach. We enjoyed swimming, the provided sand toys for our kids, and even kayak. Pool is also quite nice. Breakfast was average with limited range, but having espresso provided was nice and different from most similar hotels. Room was comfortable and all we needed.

We've stayed at a few places nearby. Coral was the most expensive but also the nicest with the pool, breakfast provided, etc.

Everything. I am sorry, but it is just horrible. I was in shock. Felt like I’m 3rd grader at summer camp in a dirty cabin in the woods. Property is dilapidated and needs tearing down completely and rebuilding. Breakfast was so limited and crappy that I wouldn’t like to go into it. Community pool is shallow and the water plainly filthy. Location in the middle of nowhere. Bars nearby are full of expats that look drunk and so sloppy like they’re wanted and hiding out there. I booked pool villa, the pool was not a pool at all, but broken down jacuzzi missing water and full of leaves and dirt. Everything inside was so filthy that I had to use a towel to open doors and faucets inside. I never thought I could rate anything below 5, but this one deserves a 0. No offense intended, just being objective

Lovely location on the beach..... some way from the town, but they did supply a daily complimentary transfer there and back if required.The pool was a good size and maintained well The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.Good menu available with well made Thai dishes.Staff friendly and helpful

The resort decor seemed a little tired and dated but not unpleasant. However attention to some detail was lacking in that the separate toilet had an ill fitting stained seat, a door that needed cleaning, painting or just replacing and a ceiling fan that was dusty and dirty...... a shame in an otherwise very pleasant resort.

The rooms are not great but for the money overall its good value. The beach bar it good , served good Thai food and cocktails. It has large swimming pool to cool off in. Its right on the beach which was excellent .We enjoyed our stay although it was brief.

Beachfront location with good beds and plenty of shade. Nice pool area. Good bar with comfortable seats. Excellent service from Khun Art. Stylish glasses for the gin. ? Good variety on the menu and very tasty food. Lovely coffee cups both in the room and breakfast area - not the usual bucket sized mugs. Excellent wifi.

Please! Some recharging points or convenient electric sockets.

Breakfast and the restaurant staff were fantastic. The bacon and eggs were cooked exactly as we ordered. Whole family was very happy.

The only down side was the beach. It wasn't bad, but just wasn't that beautiful compared to some others in the area.

Excellent small resort right on a quiet beach. Rooms were bungalow style, well-built and decorated. Beautiful gardens and swimming pool. Staff friendly and helpful, restaurant tasty and reasonably priced.

Not much within walking distance from resort.

Beautiful beach-front. Excellent pool. Great food at the sea-level bar. Very quiet and peaceful. The grounds are very well-kept. Some staff were exceptional, others were not so exceptional. It was a perfect respite for me on the way to Suran Thani from Bangkok. It is a great place to stay for some peace and quiet!

On the pricey side for add-ons. I paid close to 1,000 baht for less than 15 k of clothes to get washed and dried and when I got my clothes back, most of them were still damp (personal pet peeve). Also, not all rooms have good views. I feel like I got the worst option on the property in that regard because my patio was facing a chain-linked fence and a residential property. I asked for a different room and there was somehow only one available (even though there only seemed to be a few other groups/couples checked in and many many rooms on the property) so I stayed in mine.

not enough staff in restaurant, food could be better, cleanliness could be better. but I guess all related a bit to the hard times lately or just my own expectation we’re to high.

The location is right on the beach. Staffs are very helpful and friendly.

We stayed in the the suite ,the is quite big but because.there is a corridor WC shower, outdoor shower are divided into a separate rooms so make the room feel narrow and not well layout. But on the whole it's lovely hotel, nice garden and pool. Located right on the nice sandy beach.
