Our stay at Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Everything truly exceeded our expectations. The staff is genuinely warm, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. You really feel cared for at every moment.The bar atmosphere was amazing with great music, fantastic cocktails, and a perfect balance between fun and relaxation. The events were beautifully organized, and the food deserves a very special mention. The lobster, the seafood, everything was outstanding. Every meal felt thoughtful, fresh, and truly special.We would especially like to thank Earnest, who was absolutely incredible with us. His kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made such a difference in our experience. We were genuinely impressed by the food at Merlin. Everything was exceptional, from the flavors to the presentation, and each dinner felt memorable.What truly sets this resort apart is the management’s approach. The manager personally checked in to ensure every guest’s needs were met, showing a level of care and attentiveness that is rare and deeply appreciated.We celebrated our anniversary here, and it could not have been more perfect. Without a doubt, this is the most beautiful, turquoise, and breathtaking beach we have ever experienced.We will definitely be back. The best anniversary in the best place, unforgettable in every way.

My wife and I had a magnificent vacation at the Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives. Our bungalow was on top of the water, spacious and clean. The resort staff members were great, their hospitality and kindness were on the ‘next level’ especially Mujey, Maan and the manager Earnest from the restaurant, Mohammad Raji and Hansi from the kitchen who took care of our special dietary needs -Gluten free- very seriously, and Nichole from the diving center. Their support through out our one week stay was excellent. The food was great for all inclusive package. The spa experience was amazing. The excursions and activities were fantastic, we snorkelled with sharks, turtles and lots of sea creatures, watched dolphins and dove in the ocean.

The overwater bungalow was absolutely spectacular, and the hotel island was crystal-clear, which made every day feel magical. The snorkeling was very fun: both on the island and on the shark-seeing tour. The staff were attentive and friendly (especially Saya, who helped us a lot), ensuring every detail of our stay was perfect.

The island itself is amazing — clean beaches, plenty of fish, and excellent snorkeling. The overwater villas with pools offer great privacy and beautiful sunset views. The island is large enough for relaxing walks, especially at sunset.Special thanks to Mr. Maan and Mr. Shameem in the restaurant — their energy and friendliness really stood out and made the experience even better.

Overall, the resort did not meet expectations for the price (about $12,000 for 7 nights including seaplane).•Value for Money: Extras are overpriced. A couple’s massage was $400 (even $259 with a voucher). Coffee at breakfast was not included and cost $10, which feels unreasonable given the room rates. We also paid $1,800 in additional charges for activities and dinners.•Service: The spa manager (Rai) was rude when I tried to change my appointment — training on client communication would help. Buggy service was only offered at check-in, and after 2 PM there was no housekeeping.•Food & Drinks: Overall quality was good, but not consistent. Fruits were sometimes poor (e.g., watermelon always bad), which is disappointing compared to other, less expensive resorts.•Honeymoon Package: Very underwhelming — just a bamboo “Happy Honeymoon” sign and some fruit of mixed quality.•Facilities: Pool is too shallow, and small details like the lack of included coffee reduce the luxury feeling.For the premium price point, I expected better service, consistency, and overall value.

I couldn’t find a word to describe the place it’s paradise,amazing view great staff very friendly,food and other activities all are amazing really it’s great value of money we extend three nights more ?? we will definitely visit the place again .

Room ,food , plans , activities all are prefect

The facilities and the water villa were amazing, also the front desk Ifza and Saya were very helpful , the bar staff were amazing, and the cleaning staff, the food was great and the daily activities also included were very nice. Also the diving center was great and especially Ismail.

The only thing we didn’t like is that the waiter that he was serving us he was delaying the last 3 days of our stay there our drinks, it was like he was doing that on purpose. But except from that everything else was perfect.

Cinnamon Velifushi Maldives is a stunning resort with crystal-clear waters, beautiful room, and excellent food. The staff are incredibly kind, making the stay feel truly special. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the Maldives!

The food was absolutely god awful. Breakfast, fantastic. dinner was god awful. They need to go to different countries and see how the food is prepared that they are cooking. I’m not sure if its a food quality thing or a chef quality thing but something has to change considering how much the resort costs. Overall food is absolute terrible, sometimes inedible. Again great breakfast though.

Sharks and sting rays! Greate reef.Our room was upgrated to water bungalow for free . That was great. The one near the reef.Food is tasty with wide variety.Food is top 2 of my list of hotel food, it's meaningful.For a buffet it's a maximum.The hotel is quit and not crowded. Good beaches, beautiful area.Most of all I enjoyed watching wild sting rays everywhere.And I saw a shark while having breakfast.Also, I enjoined watching bats.

Some people use their phones without earphones in public areas.It's very annoying. I believe this kind of behavior should be strictly restricted.It is not OK to have a loud call with friends in the bar (some with inappropriate languages, listening to voices without earphones in a restaurant, or, moreover, watching some noisy cartoons during dinner .The idea is listening to the sea, birds, and quiet, not the sneaky details about other guests' divorce, finances, and love life.

So i have booked 5 nights with my wife as a honey moon couple to this amazing place and i have to say i am really impressed. Everything is perfect from picking you up at the airport to smiling at you every where you go, the food is amazing with a lot of variety and the water, island is just magical a biiiiiiig shout out to our amazing server ALI the man made us feel every time we step in to that restaurant like he is hosting us at his own place plzzzz take care of Ali he is a gem and a very valuable staff member that made our stay feel amazing. Thank you Ali :)

We had a wonderful stay at Cinnamon!The service was absolutely amazing – everything was well-organized and smooth from start to finish.We would especially like to thank Saya ? for being incredibly helpful throughout our trip, our waiter Husam for his attentive and kind service, and our housekeeper Ibrahim, who kept our room perfectly clean and comfortable every day.The food was also a highlight – so many options and everything was incredibly delicious.This trip was truly unforgettable for us – thank you for making it so special. It was the perfect honeymoon escape.We’d love to come back again!

Everything was amazing and met or exceeded my expectations. The rooms were incredible. We had the water suites and we enjoyed a lot of comfort with it; the bed was great, bathrooms were good, spaciousness was very nice to have… By far the best part of it, though, was its terrace/balcony. We had our own pool with jet function and direct access to the reef via steps into the water right from our place. When we weren't at the beach, bar, or other facilities of the resort, we were at the balcony of our place.The staff! Absolutely EVERYONE was super kind and relaxed. I don’t even have enough to say here because the team made sure to take the initiative and never let anything become a problem. They were always around at the right moments, fulfilling requests before we even had to ask. Everyone was amazing and they really make the place what it is.The location was ridiculously amazing. Right over a reef teeming with life. Just walking down the steps of our water suite and into the ocean felt surreal. The beach was great too, and having direct access to a dive and sail center on-site made it even better. Snorkeling and diving were right there.The food was so great! Such a good mix of Indian, Asian, and Western options. I don’t typically like buffets, but I genuinely loved this one. Always fresh, always something new, and really thoughtfully prepared.Honestly, everything was so great.

Our staying has been dreamy! The island is wonderful and the staff is really top level, always attentive, kind and smiley.It's impressive how well cleaned is kept everything as well as the variety of the foods in the main restaurant.

If I have to find something would be that the pool unfortunately was closed and that the entertainment could be more.

The atmosphere was dreamy, restaurant was great as well as the staff (big thanks to Shamim). They upgraded our room for the complete and give us a kind welcome for our honeymoon.We ate one night at the Marlyn restaurant and the experience was fantastic!

Excursion were quite expensive, even if we understand this is normal in that kind of resorts

A truly amazing stay at this island! I could not fault anything. Highly recommend, however it is a place more for couples than single people. Real escape to paradise.

It would've been nice to have a soft drink included in the evening meal when paying for half board. alcohol I understand to pay extra.

Great trip,This was our third stay with Cinnamon Velifushi.The service was great like usual. We were treated with great generosity and hospitality. They made a very kind gesture by upgrading us to a suite for free, emphasizing that we were loyal guests. They even gave us late checkout.The island was beautiful, and the food was delicious, fresh, and diverse.One of the greatest assets of this resort is its people. The Management, and staff were outstanding and were beyond the highest of expectations.The price of this resort, and its five star quality, is the most competitive in all of Maldives.We definitely recommend this resort. The location and the water villas were stunning, the see-it-all snorkeling day trip was amazing, the spa was great and the live music at the bar was nice. The all-inclusive package was not great and misleading - it did not include drinks or food at the villa - and the main charm of the ocean villa is that you can spend most time there without needing to walk 10 min to bar or restaurant (or paying extra for everything). It also did not include any of the a-la-carte restaurants, just the buffet, which was ok but nothing special. If it would be marketed as half-board, it would be ok, but for that price there are better “real” all-inclusive options.
