It was clean and the room was a reasonable size and there were tea bags supplied! The staff on the desk were welcoming and spoke good English.
Very near to Kamaishi Station. Hotel is accessible from the station by covered walkway. About 50 m away.

Location at the train station.Very quiet area.
No in-room safe provided.Difficulty communicating in English with receptionist.
Clean and comfortable
I was surprised the hotel did not offer free coffee during the day. 400 yen for a small cup of coffee did not feel reasonable.
the hot bath at the top and with vending machine for fresh milk and coffee. very close to train station. walking distant to supermarket.
cant think of.
I came out of the train station and headed for the Tourist Information Office but I missed the TIO and turned into the next door and was completely surprised because it was the entrance to my hotel. It cannot get more convenient than that. I do not speak Japanese and I am deeply grateful to a member of the hotel staff who took time to use the hotel telephone to get me a reservation to the wind phone and even took the time to print out information in English about it. Traveling alone I found it reassuring to feel so well taken care of.
Half the hotel has a view over the train station to the green of the mountains. My view was the steel mill across the street. I didn't mind. If these things matter to you , make sure you ask ahead of time.
location, breakfast, staffs, clean room and Onsen.enjoyed very much.
very clean and modern equipped rooms. Nice small onsen on the rooftop. practical location but view either on train station or big steel factory.
I had an excellent stay at this hotel, which is located right above the JR station of Kamaishi. The bed was very comfortable, the room very clean, and the staff exceptionally kind. i particularly enjoyed the public bath, which has an outside area (totenburo). There is a conbini right next door, and the town is 5 minutes walk. There is also a bike rental right next to the hotel. i would happily stay again.
The room was slightly small, as a business hotel standard. There was also an unpleasant smell in the 6th floor corridor and room, which has to be taken care of.
the kindness of the staff
Bedroom, Bathroom. They are very clean
The breakfast was exceptional and the staff supportive. We were able to borrow umbrellas when it rained and we were allowed to use the restaurant space for meetings in the evening.
Unfortunately, the hotel does not provide halal or vegetarian options. However, breakfast is a table set where everything is in separate compartments. English speaking ability of the staff remains somewhat limited but it doesn't affect their willingness to help.
We ordered the breakfast with our reservation and it was very reasonable. The food was Japanese-style and very tasty. The onsen was nice. Good location next to the train station. Parking was only 500 yen. We would stay there again.
The hotel is very accommodating with requests. The location is very convenient and there is little to distract from the stay, which allows one to enjoy time in Kamaishi.
In previous visits, breakfast was buffet. I know that coronavirus has impacted the way that breakfast is served (and is necessary), my feeling is that two types of set breakfasts could be offered. Some mornings had more fish than others which is not to everyone's liking. Given the cost of breakfast and the work done during our stay, a large breakfast was important, but wasn't possible due to what was provided.
Right next to the train station
The open air bath
Nothing I liked it all.
It was close to the train station
Everything was great.
