    Pros +

    • Price, location and room size were very good.
    • Location, direct access to the beach (not easy to find as nobody will tell you…)
    • Decent enough price and we stayed in a large family room. Close to bus station.

    Cons -

    • Feels a bit outdated, no room upkeep and problem with loud neighbors…
    • Vacuum at 8am, long and loud on Sunday morning!! No toothbrush, water or anything at all actually (at this price range…).
    • Strangely there was only one bed in the large family room despite there being floor space for at least 2 more. There was no flexibility at all on the check in, we arrived just before 2pm but were told, quite matter of factly, that check in was at 3pm. So had to leave for an hour or so. The room was boiling hot and we had to turn the valves under the sink to cool the room down but even with this the room was too hot, so we had to open the windows but it was noisy. Aircon was in room but no controllers to turn on. We also had to take out our own trash and recycling which we have never had to do in a hotel ever, very strange. Noisy tour groups arriving and leaving late in the night and early in the morning.

    Great value, location very convenient.

Shower wasn't very hot, whilst room was extremely hot and needed the window open!

Location is fantastic - easy walk to beach and Sokcho Eye. Spacious two bedroom apartment.

Really hot, even though it was late October, and there isn’t a way to adjust it. Nowhere for toiletries or makeup in the bathrooms. Futon beds are super hard and difficult to adjust to if you aren’t used to them. And it was very strange to come back one day to find the ceiling hatch open in the ensuite bathroom…

I enjoyed the fact that the pampas was close to the Bus station. Also, very close to the beach! Very , very calm quiet location!

Well, of course, because I’m American I’m always gonna ask for big towels. But the pompas staff was very accommodating. We had plenty of towels and bedding. Towels, bedding , and all facilities were as expected. Water pressure in the shower was strong. I loved that!

It's cheap, quite big for 5 of us and clean.Location, near to sokcho beach and Sokcho express bus terminal.Lot of convenient stores nearby, still the enviroment is not too busy.Side by side roomQuick check in & out

I've made a modification about the number of guest staying then asked the hotel whether there is any changes about the price, via email, message in booking.com n instagram direct message but no reply. It was the admin of booking.com then gave me confirmation.Old hotel but quite maintained.Bathroom is too small and flat, so the water runs all over the floor, make it slipperyThe futons are to thin

Decent size for family of five.

There were lots of mosquitoes in the lifts and surrounding area although the apartment itself was ok.

    10MessanePosted on: 5-4-2024

Room was huge, super clean and comfortable.Location is perfect, close to the express bus terminal and buses to Seoraksan. Amazing value for the price.

Nothing. You can manually turn off the central heater if it feels too hot.

    7WalkerPosted on: 4-20-2024

Liked the beachside location and large on-site carpark. The room was large with a kitchenette, which we didn't use. There was a small table and chairs, which was handy. The shower was powerful. WiFi was available, but we used our own. Convenience store very close by. Value for money.

The lobby area looked a little run-down and the room a little tired, but was good value for money, so we didn't mind.

    8EthanPosted on: 2-25-2024

The size of the room was good and the price was very reasonable. The location of the hotel was also ideal, just a short walk away from the Sokcho Bus Express Terminal and a few convenience stores and restaurants. Everything was functional and met my expectations.

We did not expect too much given the very reasonable price we paid.

    5EleanorPosted on: 12-5-2023

The location is good for getting to the national park.

There is no ability to change the temperature of the room, we therefore had a very hot night. There was an announcement over the intercom in the late night, not in English and so we did not know what they were saying. It was very loud and you can hear rooms all around you.

    7AurananPosted on: 11-4-2023

The room came with bedroom and living room with 2 toilets. Suitable for group stay

The additional futons were a bit thin.

We stayed in multiple hotels during our visit to South Korea and the concept of the Pampas Resort was very different in all aspects. We booked a two room suite. It had a mini kitchen with adequate utensils/cookware. The room layout had a bed in one room and a table/sofa combination in the second room---nothing more. Obtaining cleaning was difficult and the room was cleaned only one time during our 7 night stay. Based upon the information on Booking.com, we beleived the resort was near the beach---it is not, at least using my definition of near. It was a 10-15 walk down very busy streets to get to a beach where no swimming was permitted. Air conditioning was mediocre, so the rooms were warm most of the time. We will choose a more common hotel concept on our next visit to Sokcho.

Room concept. Hard bed. Difficulty getting room cleaned. Only one chair in the bedroom and a weird, very hard sofa in the other room, so guests had to lounge on the floor. Not near the beach.

Location is great, near the beach and terminal. Information in the room is clear.

A receptionst is rude. She did not even smile. Hotel did not serve bottle water. Hotel is old-fashioned.

    8CamillaPosted on: 10-5-2023

Nice big rooms. Great location for going to the National park, the Express busstation and Beach.

    8YoungPosted on: 9-25-2023

Clean facility and rooms, and the underground parking was adequate and convenient. The location was great close to the beach and facilities.

The bed was rather shallow with not much cushion, so not so comfortable. They've only provided hand towels without bath towels. The room cleaning was offered only from 3rd day. The notices in the rooms and lobby were written mostly in local language, so the foreigner friends had difficulty.

    9VanessaPosted on: 9-24-2023

convenient location near express bus terminal, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, microwave, two toilets in our room!

Although close to bus terminal, need a cab to get to Sokcho market area

    7JoriPosted on: 9-3-2023

Great location, very close to the beach. Free parking garage underneath the building. Kitchenette and spacious room. Several restaurants and shops in walking distance.

The elevators where dirty and the hallways a bit smelly. Also the construction work next to the hotel was noisy throughout the whole day (starting early morning also on Saturday). Rooms are only cleaned after 3 days, so if you need fresh towels earlier, you have to swap them yourself at the reception which is less convenient than in a regular hotel.

    7FiruzePosted on: 8-23-2023

We were given a upgrade when we Got there so our room was quite spacious.

Hallways had a weird unpleasant smell, and that was a major problem for me. There was no outlets bedside.
