Nothing was good in this old resort.
All pictures in booking are from old time. This is very old property with spiders all around. Broken sofa, old utensils. Very very bad. We can't believe it is a resort in Korea and using Hyundai name.
Location is good. Not far from Sokcho city and Sokcho beach area.
- Property and rooms are too old. - Room's balcony doors were broken. So many bugs, spiders, spider webs in the room's balcony. - Bathroom was so old and equipments were also broken. Electric switches were also broken in room. - Sofa was torn and in such a poor condition that it wasn't safe to sit on that. - Although requested the room on higher floor at the time of reservation and received the special request confirmation email from booking.com but still reception staff didn't provide room on higher floor and reception staff's behavior was also not kind. - Room's photos uploaded on booking.com are believed to be taken when the property was just inaugurated but the current condition of rooms is totally different and poor. So, request to booking.com that ask the property staff to upload the current photos of rooms not the one which were taken decades ago because we trust info on booking.com portal and name of "Hyundai".
I liked - Location- Gaming facilities- Large Property - Helpful staff- Kitchen with minimum appliances. No microwave
I did not like- The rooms had old furniture and needs lot of maintenance/ up gradation.- Water leakage in bathroom- Not the cleanest hotel that I have stayed in- Does not provide Shampoo or other soap, lotion etc., so carry your own.- Do not have daily housekeeping. Stayed there for 3 nights and had no housekeeping service in those days.
