Best Western Queen Victoria Market Hotel

The location, the cleanness, the staff were great.

Reception 24/7 is required in 4* hotels- it’s ok that the guests have someone available all the time

I was quite disappointed with my stay. Upon returning late one evening, I discovered that one of the towels provided was dirty. Since the hotel does not offer 24-hour reception, I was unable to resolve.

app stated checkin till 1800 but checkin turned out to only be till 1700 on Sunday, leaving us to scramble and change our plans to get to the hotel on time

Fridge too small. No safe in the room. Room too hot upon return because staff took the keycard. No facilities.

Fantastic location to walk around Melbourne, Queen Vic Markets, cafes, food & cinema. Very secure feel to the hotel as well. Night view out of my window was excellent.

No big deal but you could have a cup a soup/noodles vending machine.

The water pressure was superb, the location was convenient, the room was very clean and modern, love the price.

The power sockets did not work when I wanted to charge my phone. I tried all of them.

The hotel is located very close to Victoria Market in a nice quiet street, no traffic noise at all.

We overlooked the limitations of the reserved room, which was also equipped for disabled people. The room was very small 3x4 m and there was no space enough around the bed. The bathroom was very empty and not what you would expect. All to do with disabled people. One other issue was the noise from the room above, the upper floor was very noise when walking. From the window you could only see the next close wall.

We arrived late but the instructions to get in were good. The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable & the location was great. Thanks

Small, well managed hotel. The staff at reception were very helpful. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning the room every day. The room is well laid out with a comfortable desk and chair. Excellent location close to Queen Victoria market

Nowhere to keep my clothes, so l was living out of my bag for three days

A little bit of a hike to reach, but once there the staff was super friendly, the room was small but comfortable with a good bathroom, there were plenty of food options and free tram pretty near by as well as right next to Queen Vic markets

Walls very thin so easy to hear noise but it wasn’t an issue at all.

Location, friendly staff, secure and safe, nice size room and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Thankyou for a good stay.

Needs bigger fridge, a lounge or some bucket seats would be nice. We did not have a car but if we did Parking would be an issue.
