Eco Park Lodge

There were not many TV channels. The website said there was a restaurant and it was advertised in the room booklet but there wasn't one. A lot of things available on the breakfast menu were not available when we asked for them.

The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom nice and clean and shower was good

There was a flat screen TV in the room, with no remote. Could not use it. The flatscreen TV in the lounge area had just some SABC channels and was such bad grainy screen quality you could not really watch. Pointless to have TVs in the room that cannot be used. Thought there was meant to be satellite channels?There was a banging noise from a gate or something outside that would literally bang every 10min.

I was probably woken up more than 10 times at night wether it was from cars, people making noise at 2:30 AM or the AC making a lot of noise. The rooms needs to be a lot quieter.

The breakfast were nice. The rooms are spacious and clean.

The spa bath did not work. The highway is very noisy and I struggled to sleep.

Even thought the property is next to the highway the building is in such a way that the road honestly did not bother us. Breakfast was lovely! The room exceeded our expectations for the price in comparison to other properties in the area.

The bed was comfortable and there was hot water.

The restaurant and bar are closed. There was no remote control for the air conditioning so I was unable to use it. The location right by the N1 highway was very noisy.

Although the pics makes it look nice, the place seems to be a bit run down and needs some TLC. I could not find the TV remote, but the TV had no connection to anything anyway. Because of a power outage in the region, the aircon was not working which is not their fault, however one would expect a fan of some sort which was not available. The location is right next to the highway, so opening the windows resulted in a lot of noise in the room. Bed pillows and pillow cases are old and needs replacement. There was a bar facility which was not open even during the time it was supposed to be open. The mini fridge had nothing inside. There was a bottle of water but it was outside of the fridge and therefore hot.

Nothing in particular. It was just a basic place

The place was filthy. The rooms were dirty dusty, flies all over, mats were dirty, bedding had stains. The toilet had black dirty inside aas it is old and not cleaned properly. EVERY place was dirty even the stairway was dirty for thee entire 2 days we were there. This is thee worst place I've ever paid to got to. I would never recommend. It was a nightmare. I was so embarrassed as I brought my mom as well.When we checked out no one even bid us goodbye the manager was busy 'talking over' the chefs.

The heaters in our foyer were very ugly and dirty. Our bathroom light switch did not work.You can have or a light, or a bar fridge, or a kettle... ?The breakfast plates, knives and small jug were sticky and dirty - used and washed badly.The fruit juice at breakfast was warm. The cuppichino function on the coffee machine is broken. The place needs serious management improvements. Will not recommend it at all.

The staff were friendly and the premises were well kept

The breakfast in the morning was disappointing to say the least. We were busy serving and found cockroaches cooked into the bacon . I went and told the chef and he just took the pieces that were on my plate , leaving the rest of the infested bacon for other guests to keep eating , needless to say I dis not end up eating the breakfast that I had paid for

Great location and modern rooms.

The breakfast. Expired items. Hopefully not recycled left overs…Don’t seem to plan accordingly to stock up or keep things fresh or in supply. The breakfast is not doing the location and rooms justice and more what you’d expect from a 1 star motel. Some times the staff looks like they own the place, as it seems they are on holiday after hours. Not opening gate.

The pool area was to die for

Nothing except that there was some dirty on staircases near the wall. I think it was the dirty under the carpet and was only cause the carpet had shifted.

The reception was great. Slept comfortably. No noise and.loved the fact that I was allocated a room far away from.skokers as requested. Loved their breakfast ?

The receptionist was friendly and went out of her way to support.

The room is being changed from the initial booking. First place in a room with only a shower after I booked a room with a bath. However, the receptionist was able to move me to a room with a bath.

Bed unfortunatley even though very comfortable it sqeeked terribly, every turn it woke me up

There is a bit of noise from the street and the pool pump, but nothing major.
